Dr. Nazir Rahim, MD

Refused to listen to any symptoms or characteristics of my condition. Drew his own conclusions and provided no treatment which subsequently resulted in emergency surgery.

Dr. Rahim is excellent, he ordered tests quickly and was able to narrow down my issues and get me a diagnosis quickly. My issues are now well managed with medications and I don’t have the pain and episodes that were so debilitating. Thank you Dr Rahim!!

Dr. Rahim listens, doesn't do the same old things that don't work like my other doctors did. He explains everything so you can understand what is happening and how to solve the issues. He's helped me more than any other doctor ever has and has changed my life for the better. He's very nice and always willing to help. His staff are very sweet and helpfull too.

My case is complex and includes chronic Pancreatitis. Dr. is always prepared for my visits. He knows what test results are before we sit down and he has always been sympathetic to my problems. He understands how my other conditions (i.e. Type 1 Diabetes) and history affect current issues. He always has a plan for follow-ups and what tests will be required. He listens to our concerns and takes them seriously. His staff has consistently been courteous and professional. Thanks Tammy!! I have and will continue to recommended him to my friends.

Dr. Rahim was able to diagnose a very rare condition which I had contracted. He coordinated all of the proper testing, referral to surgeon and after care in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend him to other patients.

If it wasn't by the grace of God literally that Dr.Rahim was the residing Dr.when I when I was in hospitalized I don't know what I would do. Don't want to go into all the issues of my incurable disease as a weekly infusion patient I don't know how I would have emotionally gotten by. I have literally lived in the hospital for 8 yrs.since disagnosis, which was Sutter I bought a home right by my daughter do too these issues. I was taken by ambulance to Mercy Folsom where the hospitalist almost killed me,hence the last 6wks and in and out of hospital for 6 wks and landed back in where i should have been in the critical care hospital. Do to the hospitalist who refused to call one member of my team of 4drs.so i could be cared for properly this idiot never called. Dr.Rahim tried to go too bat for me he had no success,i came out worse than i came in. Dr.Rahim also let me know he went home to look uo my illness.He himspoke to my daughter anytime he called. My G.I.retired so i blessed to find

Horrible doctor. Refused to give exams after coming in with repeated serious issues (including bleeding!) And blocked other doctors from giving a second opinion, when he hadn't even given one! Worst doctor ever, and a horrible person.

I had no problems with Dr. Rahim. My issues are with the office staff. I have made several calls in attempt to find out if my upcoming procedure was considered (coded) preventative or diagnostic for deductible reasons. The office staff has not been very friendly or accommodating, and I still do not have an answer. Additionally, I left a message for the doctor a week ago to fill him in on the potential loss of business due to his staff, and still no call back.

He is a great doctor and he always takes the time to make sure we are able to ask all our questions without feeling rushed. He is always trying to present us with newest and latest information if there is something in the treatment that is not working. He is passionate and he cares about my health and condition.
