Horrible shoulder pain finally sent me to Dr. Kohl for help. To make a long story short, if you need a shoulder replacement, he's the surgeon to see! He listens to your concerns and has a pleasant bed side manner about him. He will tell you exactly what to expect from the implants after having the surgery. I owe him a debt of gratitude for improving my quality of life.

Right shoulder Bicep Repair
Dr.Kohli had to come behind another orthopedic surgeon and repair a bicep tendon that was repaired incorrectly.needless to say, the other doctor was not in the Aurora network. He was a Work Comp doctor that did the initial repair,

He's been my orthopedic doctor for at keast 15 years. I'm an athlete and he understands what I need ,mostly to keep doing what I love. Had a successful shoulder replacement and now he's helping with a bad knee. Highly recommend him.

Lazy and arrogant
Talked to me for all of 2 minutes about my X ray and misdiagnosed my injury completely. Recommended physical therapy which I’d already been doing for 6+ months. I came in to have my shoulder looked at and he only looked at my neck for some reason. Literally cut me off while I was explaining how I was injured in the first place.

He said he was not a specialist in my injury but was quick to prescribe me steroid injections and refer me to pain management. I asked for a diagnosis not for pain killers. Terrible!!!

Went to Dr Kohli for an ankle injury and before he got test results back he wanted to do surgery on my ankle. Would not discuss anything else and basically told me to get lost when I wanted a second opinion. Followed up with an ankle specialist only to find out the X-ray Dr Kohli was looking at was at the wrong angle and no surgery was needed. Had I had the surgery Dr Kohli recommended it would have caused great pain and had to be undone shortly afterwards. Trust him for arms and shoulders, not ankles.

Dr. Kohli is and excellent surgeon, professional yet personable, caring, listens and spends time with his patients. His P.A. Diane is a compliment to the team! My spouse and I have seen other Orthopedic Surgeons over the years, we wish we would have found him many years ago. Would highly suggest him as your surgeon.

Dr Kohli and his staff repaired my ruptured bicep tendon/torn rotator cuff/ and cleaned up some arthritis in August of 2015 , and I could not be happier with the operation. Was definitely a long , painful recovery , but while I was frustrated , he kept reassuring me that I was progressing along quite well. They kept reminding me that it could take up to 18 months before fully recovered , but 9 months later , I am able to most things that I would have sworn I'd never be able to again.

I had a repair of a complete rupture of my rotator cuff in March 2016, 10 weeks later I have very minimal pain and my mobility exceeds expectations. Both Dr Kohli and his PA, Diane Billmyer, are incredible providers and have a wonderful bedside manner. I would very highly recommend him to anyone needing shoulder surgery.

Has no idea what he's talking about. Went to him at least 4 times in a year and every time he just kept giving me cortisone. The last one he gave me he hit a nerve and my whole hand was numb for a week. Thanks a lot!
