Satisfied Patient of Dr. Ahmed's since 2014!
I have been seeing Dr. Ahmed for many years. My rheumatoid arthritis has been stable during that time due to her attention and medication prescribed. Her manner can seem brusque but I find her very knowledgable and willing to listen to her patient. For example, at one point she wanted to change my prescription to a different medication. I was reluctant to make the change, but I agreed. After a few months on it, she agreed with me that it was not needed for my condition and I returned to my previous medication. I always get all of my blood work and other tests performed before my appointment and come with questions ready so that the appointment proceeds efficiently. I have never left feeling my questions were not answered or my concerns dismissed.

My heath is improving under her care
Most thorough doctor I’ve ever had. She keeps my whole care team in line and on one accord. I’ve experienced notable health improvements under her guidance. She knows her specialty well and she stays informed on developing issues and new medications.

She gave you a lot of referrals but not her dignosis or opinion. She ordered tests but don't tell me the reson and after get result. She didn't explain what the result means. She didn't listen or answer patient's question. Even she wants to change medication, she didn't explain and just give you printed information. And you need to study and decide. She is always hurry and no time to her patient. She spend around 10 to 15 minutes per visit but most of time is that she reads the past record or test result.

Very Disappointing
This doctor is arrogant. The first visit you feel insulted--she doesn't let you speak. After ordering expensive tests you return for a visit to review the results. She literally reads the results and OFFERS NO ADVICE...OPINION...PROTOCOL...OR FUTURE STEPS. Disheartening.

Intelligent but abrasive and unhelpful
Dr Ahmed is clearly an intelligent doctor and she orders thorough tests. However, she is a horrible listener and even worse communicator. She is incredibly rude and abrasive. She also often runs 30-45 minutes late for the appointment. I find I dread going to see her. I’ve worked with a lot of doctors and being yelled at is not something I’m open to. Her staff is also extremely rude, rather than acting like they are there to help you, all three of the women working there are consistently adversarial. There are better rheumatologists in the area.

Excellent Doctor - Extremely Satisifed
I am really happy that my GP referred me to Dr Ahmed. She had a slightly gruff manner initially, and she did pepper me with a lot questions and refer me out for various tests. But I found all of the tests extremely helpful for a better understanding of my condition. I found her extremely knowledgeable, competent and empathetic.

Dr. Ahmed is a very thorough physician. She has a very quiet manner but is quite concerned and has a reputation for being thorough. I have a family member that also is a patient of hers and she is quite pleased with her expertise.

Dr. is adequate but not a good listener. The office staff are largely not helpful, kind, nor competent. I can still move around fairly well, but I have observed zero assistance provided to debilitated patients by staff and other patients in the waiting area helping (pre-pandemic).Shameful.

Beware!! My experience with Dr. Ahmed is one of the worst I've ever had with doctors. I wish I had read the reviews. Big mistake! The moment I walked into the office, I knew something didn't feel right. The front office staff was extremely unfriendly and didn't seem to know what was going on. And then I met Dr. Ahmed. She peppered me with question after question, which didn't apply to the problem I was there for. She questioned the knowledge I had about my own health and dismissed anything I had to say. She then went on to schedule a multitude of tests for me, which again were unnecessary to the problem I was there for. Unfriendly, unprofessional, and in the wrong profession. You have been warned.

Dr. Ahmed twice saved my life, first with a timely diagnosis after I had been wrongly diagnosed by a previous physician and then by diagnosing another serious condition. Also, when I first visited her some years past, I was suffering chronic, debilitating pain. Within one week of the treatment she prescribed, the pain was relieved. I am fortunate to have found her and I would see no one else now.

The office of Dr. Navera Ahmed provides the worst and the rudest service I have ever experienced in my life. Even the doctor herself doesn't listen to us , and she is always in hurry with us during the visit. She ordered me MRI, and the office has to send my medical history to my insurance, they didn't send enough information, so the per-authorization got denied. when I called the office to know what is the reason, they refused to tell me any information, and they said I have to call the insurance to know the reason. I called the insurance and knew what is the problem, so I called the office to let them know that the insurance company wants the office to call to provide more information. THE OFFICE SAID WE DO NOT HAVE TIME TO CALL, SO WE WILL JUST SEND THEM FAX IF THEY REPLIED THEY WILL CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY, IF NOT NOTHING WE CAN DO. From my experience, THEY NEVER CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENT.

Marginal bedside but thorough and detail oriented. I think the practice is beyond capacity and hard to segment the patients. 5+ day wait on call backs at best. Not great if experiencing pain or pain management support...

Rude, dismissive, misinformed, rushed, fails to explain things, doesn't listen, barely examines me, requires endless lab tests and barely explains the results. I feel like a pincushion. Staff do not answer phone or return messages, even urgent messages. She refers repeatedly to my "broken wrist" (I have never broken my wrist, but she seems not to believe me!)

I always had to wait more than 15 minutes. The staff is very cold, don't even say hello. I would wait forever for to see the doctor, only to get less than five minutes with her. My biggest complaint is Dr. Ahmed though. She wouldn't listen to my problems. She would talk the whole time and dismiss any questions or concerns I had. She wouldn't trust me to know my own body and needs. I felt completely dismissed each time I went there. She really has terrible bedside manners.
