Dr. Naveen Maliakkal, MD

He was assigned to me for severe neck pain at HCA Florida Lake City Hospital. He finally showed up at 7:10 PM, asking me where the pain was. After pointing to the area he proceeded to feel the area, pressing his fingers deeply into me causing terrible pain as I yelled 'It Hurts'. He then asked me to move my head side to side, I tried but had very little movement, he grabbed my head moving it left to right, then up and down as I yelled in pain. He said it was a 'locked muscle' and instructed the nurse to get me a heat pad. He said he had to lookup what to treat it with, looked at the clock and said he got off at 7:00 , but would 'get to it'. Never heard back from him. I spent the next 10 hours in excruciating pain, sitting straight up in a chair and could not move without extreme pain in my neck and shoulder. Shame on HCA Florida Lake City Hospital for having such a terrible person on staff. DO NOT let this so called Doctor near you or touch you!

Please, if you really care about your health, dont ever be attended by this Dr at HCA Lake City, He is rude and always has a know it all attitude, his negligence almost killed me, a few times.. Always request for him not to be my doctor! Instead of getting in peoples personal buisness he should be more profestional and worry about what he is there for, medical treatment! This doctor has also abused me mentally and emotionally causing me to have a panic and anxiety attack. His negligence is very unacceptable!

This doctor is the most condescending, arrogant human being I have ever encountered. Instead of professionalism, he decides to put his personal opinion over your health. He has caused my family mental anguish due to his lack of empathy and to make matters worse, he has the audacity to mock you as a patient at the hospital. What kind of person does such a thing? If you are being attended by him at HCA Lake City, FL, please save yourself a headache and ask for someone else. The type of entitled “doctor” that makes you not want to seek medical attention due to his poor attitude. He is rude, and an absolute abuser of power. I am baffled that someone who is supposed to care for the wellbeing of another, is able to make fun of someone’s medical condition. I hope no one ever gets treated the way he has treated my very ill sister or our family.
