Day of Surgery
Of course, Dr. Williams introduced himself as my surgeon. But, he went on to ask if I was sure I wanted to go through with the surgery… a definite sign of caring. I woke up in recovery still a bite sedated, But no real pain. In the hallway, I heard Dr. Williams checking on me. I, later, went home (a little sedated and swollen) and slept for while. By midnight, following the doctor’s orders, I was doing much better. And still no real pain. Part 2 coming up!
