PRP Injections
Dr. Crider, a board certified Physiatrist. I had my second session of PRP with Dr. Crider a few months apart and was more than satisfied with the results. I think that the work of Dr. Crider should be the entry point when considering orthopedic care. PRP is one of the best, least invasive treatments for skeletal and muscle health. I highly recommend him, and his team. They were all great.

Best decision ever made
Regenexx is a leader in the orthopedic field. I discovered them from a friend who had both stem cell and PRP treatment done in Chicago. After many surgeries that only made matters worse I decided to try something different. One visit and I had all the information as well as cost analysis from Dr Crider. He performed the procedure as I was told and kept up with me during the time afterwards. I watch how I do things but haven't felt this good in a long long time. I have sent others to Dr Crider who have also had excellent results. He will not offer the procedure if he doesn't think it will help. That is pretty much what sold me. I wish there were more Dr Criders out there.

Back Pain
Dr. Crider and his team are amazing! I had Regenexx done on my lower back and it worked beautifully! Everything was explained to me and I didn’t even need pain meds. I am getting so much relief from the 10+ years of horrible back pain.

Regenerative medicine
Dr. Crider and the entire staff at AVL Regenerative Orthopedics are awesome. They were immediately reachable whenever I have had concerns. I've had back pain since I was 50. Then when I got into my 70s it all intensified. I had arthritis, bulging discs, spinal narrowing and overall degeneration. Dr. Crider understood and was compassionate of the pain I was experiencing. I've received three treatments - each addressing a different issue with a different or combination of procedures. The PRP injections in the SI joints and lower back have allowed me to get back to gardening and yard work. I am very, very thankful to have found Dr. Crider and regenerative medicine.

Knee Pain Relief
I had a bad parachute landing while serving in the U.S. Airborne in 2002. As I aged it progressively worsened. It would give out, pop, and had limited mobility. In 2019 I had the meniscus "cleaned out". It was worse than before, more pain and instability. My doctor said if the pain does not go away, that the next step would be a knee replacement. I was 53 yrs old. My wife found Regenexx. My goal was where I could walk without pain. At this time my knee was basically bone on bone. I had the stem cell therapy in Apr 2022. Platelet Rich Plasma in Nov 2022 on that knee, a meniscus tear on other knee and my lower back which has been problematic since the 2002 injury. The difference was amazing. I can actually walk with stability and use stairs without having to "limp" along waiting for the excruciating pain to hit me. After a week of the PRP, the meniscus tear and my sore back quit hurting! Can't wait to see what I can do in year from now!

Great relief
Dr. Crider listened carefully to my concerns, took notes, clarified with helpful questions and explained things clearly. I had had almost constant pain in my lower back with frequent burning pain and weakness down my left leg which had increased over the last few years. I had difficulty sitting, lifting and riding in the car. We decided on the platelet procedure which was non invasive except for some pricks with just a few days recovery time. At first I didn’t notice much relief but when I saw Dr. Crider at 3 months after the procedure my back felt stronger, I had almost no lower back pain, I had only 1-2 incidents of leg pain in the last 6 weeks which was relieved with stretching, I was able to ride in a plane and car for vacation, and I rated a 75% improvement in my symptoms. This is almost a miracle!

Excellent results
Dr Crider is an experienced and knowledgeable professional. He took the time to understand my condition and provided an abundance of scenarios and likely outcomes. His approach was direct and well thought out and I knew what to expect and when to expect it- before, during and after my procedure. I felt safe and comfortable at all times and I would recommend this procedure to anyone who is eligible. Finally, after 3 years of pain, I feel like I'm on the road to recovery. My only regret is not hearing about this procedure sooner.

Relief at Last
Dr. Nate Crider of Asheville Regenerative Orthopedics has provided me with pain relief after years of suffering. I have had a total hip replacement, laminectomy of the lower spine, steroid injections, chiropractor adjustments and continuous physical therapy. Each have their place, but the PRP injections are what has given me the most relief. If you have tried everything else and are told more surgery is your only option, make an appointment with Dr. Crider and see what he thinks. He gave me one of the best physical evaluations that I have ever had…unrushed. He will explain your situation to you carefully and offer his professional opinion; but will leave you to make your on educated decision. My biggest regret is that I didn’t see Dr. Crider earlier, before the irreversible nerve damage was done.

Early in 2019, I began experiencing debilitating pain radiating from my lower back and left hip. After a MRI, I was diagnosed by an Orthopedic Surgeon with a partial tear of the gluteus minimus tendon and lower spinal arthritis. Upon referral by my PT, I met with Dr. Crider whose friendly and professional demeanor quickly put me at ease. Dr. Crider reviewed my MRI and listened intently to my description of the pain and movement limitations. He carefully explained the blood platelet treatment program designed to repair the injured areas. All my questions were answered. Two treatments (8 weeks apart) were performed. During each treatment session (the last one at the end of July), Dr. Crider was careful to explain the procedures and to make sure that I was comfortable and not experiencing any significant pain. The procedures went smoothly; no surprises. Dr. Crider’s experience and competence served me well. I am happy to report that today I am pain free and enjoying significant mobility!

I had identical symptoms in both hands with ring finger trigger issues. I had PRP injections in the right hand for arthritis pain and joint instability, ring finger trigger latching, and platelet lysate injection in the neck for radial nerve issues. I had a surgical release of my corresponding trigger finger on my left hand as well as a cyst removal the following month. I still have issues with the trigger finger that had the surgical remedy and NO issues with the finger that received the PRP injection. The stark contrast between the two treatment results is startling for me. Plus I didn't have the surgical incision to heal nor the worry of extra adhesions forming. As reviewed by NIH, this is an effective treatment option and worth the money (out of pocket). No more cortisone injections in the hands, surgeries, and chronic pain with this PRP and lysate treatment!

Dr. Crider listens well and provided a therapy of PRP vs. stem cells for my rotator cuff injury. It has been 8 weeks since the treatment along with PT and my strength is coming back with almost full range of motion. Feels about 90 percent currently. I strongly recommend exploring PRP or stem cells before surgery.

The environment was clean, and the staff was really well organized. I wasn't sure how it would all go, being that I was coming from a distance. Dr. Crider's assistant pretty much took care of everything. She had hotel recommendations and reservations, transportation arrangements, and so much more. Many details that I didn't have to even consider were just done . I was well informed and had everything needed to make the most out of my visit. A month later, I feel like I could run a marathon. :)

I have had months of very severe hip pain. XRay showed bone on bone, but I was still hopeful I wouldn't have to have surgery. I came here, hopeful, but also not wanting expensive procedures that wouldn't fix it. Dr Crider was very up front with me that my hip was too far gone to have stem cell transplant on it. That measure of honesty and trust is rare in our world. He did suggest some other areas that I could feel benifits from after the hip is corrected.
