Missing in action
Dr. March always seemed willing to chat. But when I was suffering from pulmonary embolism’s, he prescribed antacids.

Be Warned
As a former patient, I'll share my last experience with Dr. March when I saw him for a calf muscle strain:-He referred to my veins as 'garbage' speaking to a student in my presence. (I have disabling venous insufficiency in my left leg, which wasn't the reason for the visit.)- His 'exam' of my calf wasn't diagnostic at all. He pressed his fingers aggressively and deeply into my calf and continued after I said firmly: 'That's enough.'- He allowed me no voice as I tried to discuss a treatment plan, denied my request to work with a physical therapist. When I insisted that I wanted to do whatever I could to optimize the healing, he snapped at me: 'There's nothing you can do.'-He lacked empathy, didn't listen, and had no concern for my health and well-being.I do not recommend Dr. March.

If you are a patient with Type 1 Diabetes, I highly recommend you find a different doctor. Between Dr. March not being willing to sign a referral to a hand surgeon for carpal tunnel release surgery to not writing refill prescriptions for insulin pump supplies. Let it be known that if I die, my blood is on his hands and his lack of care. If appointments need to be made in order to continue prescription refills, maybe their office should reach out to their patients to setup those appointments. My favorite part is reading my online chart in which it is written that he counseled me on weight management......if you get more than 5 minutes with him in the room you're lucky. My annual physical was 8 minutes max and not once did he ever go over blood work with me. He was adamant that I didn't have carpal tunnel and that the numbness in my hands was from something else......numbness and tingling went away after surgery and I slept through the night for the first time in years.

I've felt very frustrated recently at the small amount of time he spends in the room, plus his diagnoses feel as though they are not well thought out. Went several times with the same complaints, I feel as though I'm not being taken seriously.
