I could not have been more satisfied with my experience with Dr. Emerson and his staff. He is extremely educated and has amazing bed side manner. He was able to correctly identify my hernia quickly (which was a feather in my cap because the ER doctor said I was wrong when I said the same kind as Emerson), he understood my pain level and desire to have it fixed quickly. I had surgery today, and the only pain I am feeling is from the anesthesia, not the surgery itself. I cannot being to recommend him and his office enough.

My grandfather is very sick with bowel obstruction. He refused to treat him and after he started feeling better let him go. We have already been to the hospital twice for this same thing. Poor bedside manner.

Dr. Emerson is a great surgeon. I had Hiatal hernia repair as well as the TIF procedure to prevent acid reflux. He was very open and discussed the procedure as well as answered questions before surgery. He called and answered all the questions I had after the surgery. I felt comfortable with the procedure and everything to expect before, during and after. The hospital staff was fabulous, his office staff was great and he called back immediately. Everyone should consider him.

Dr. Emerson performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gall bladder removal) procedure on me. It happened rather quickly and Dr. Emerson was assigned to do the surgery. He was wonderful. He listened, answered all my question and put me at ease. Again just before surgery he answered all my and my husband's questions. His team working with him were all caring too. The procedure went without any problems and I was released to go home the next day. I can't say thank you enough to Dr. Emerson.

Dr. Emerson performed an appendectomy on me a year ago. It ruptured upon removal and Dr. Emerson didn't feel it was necessary to let me or my husband know of the event. I have been battling infections and related issues for the past year. Extremely poor bedside manner in my opinion not to warn a patient about possible side effects nor appear concerned of ongoing complications as a result of severe infection.
