Together with her cohort, Dr. Allison Lowie, I was shepherded through a most unusual 2+ years dealing with inoperable malignant melanoma. Thanks to their attention to detail and spotting small satellite tumors others might have missed, surgical resection was taken off the table and I literally was allowed to "keep my ear." They always supported my decisions about my care where some others thought me 'foolish'. In the end it all worked out. My melanoma is not 'cured (is melanoma ever REALLY cured?), but I have been classified as N.E.D. (No Evidence of Disease). Would I recommend them? Absolutely. I owe them both a lot.

I had a skin check and the overall experience was awesome!! The staff was helpful and made my visit a pleasure. The front desk staff were friendly and had smiles on their faces. Shawn and Wendi were very helpful.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Monticciolo for the past 14 years, since we retired to Florida. In that time, she diagnosed my husband with skin cancer twice. In each case, the cancer was very early, not even at stage one. She is thorough, professional, and extremely capable. Her office staff is efficient and personable. I highly recommend Dr. Monticciolo.

Comprehensive Care!! Dr. Monticciolo and staff will take care of you like they took care of my family and I My wife has psoriasis that they treat and it’s under control. My kids have acne and warts. They have managed their skin conditions, as well. One of my children has had atypical moles that were treated with precision. Both my wife and I have had precancerous lesions and skin cancers that have needed further treatment. We have been very pleased with our outcome. They are the best!!

I have a huge 2 inch horrible scar on my cheek thanks to her not taking the time to do the Mohs procedure as she should have. Cut 2 inches all in one sitting and stitched me right up. A total nightmare.

Prestige Dermatology of New Port Richey is the worst. I scheduled an appointment in December 2016. On January 2, 2017 the front desk called me and cancelled the appointment saying my plan was not covered. I called Florida Blue and they confirmed that the plan would cover the appointment. At 9 AM I was in their office and the front desk informed me that they did not accept Florida Blue and canceled my appointment for the second time. They didn't bother to send me a text message let alone call me.

Dr. Monticciolo is a very warm, patient friendly doctor who does great work. I have been seeing her for over five years for my dermatological needs. The fact that she is board certified in her area of practice is a big bonus! However, her staff can be very rude if you are a patient who asks questions; she is not, but her staff is. They get very snide and short if you want to be informed about your procedures or have questions.

I had the best experience here. I have no complaints, only praise for this office. I would never go to another office for dermatology care.

Got biopsy and left marks on my leg for a allergic reaction they said I had. of course I had an allergic reaction! That's why I went there. Paid $30 copay and then they collected $80 for biopsy. Later I get a bill for $47.51. I called to get this resolved because not only was I unhappy with service but they charged me more money for NOTHING. All I got was I'm sorry you were unhappy but you still have to pay the bill or you will go to collection.
