Very compassionate and caring. Does not rush you. Goes thru your whole life history. Very knowledgeable and understanding. One of the best Dr. On the planet. Truly a blessing to this earth. Wish all doctors were like him.

Amazing amazing amazing!! I cant say enough good things about how sweet, compassionate and caring Dr. Ghaly is. Wonderful man and an amazing private practice for anyone in need a psychiatrist.

Dr. Ghaly is the best of the best and will do anything to help his patients.

Although Dr.Ghaly has an excellent reputation and I wanted to see him, I was treated so rudely, disrespectfully and dismissively by the person answering the phone, I have gone to another practice. I spoke with this person on 3 occasions and every time he treated me very poorly. This person should not be dealing with the public, never mind persons with mental health problems.

Dr Ghaly is an extremely knowledgeable, compassionate doctor who really listens and knows his patients. Yes you wait but it’s because he takes the time to listen and not make you feel as if you’re on a conveyor belt.

Excellent all around, great staff, Doctor and NP are great also...never any problems! A+++

Meet the Doctor for the first time in the Hospital yesterday. Very pleasant Man and extremely knowledgeable. Great Bed side manner and easy to talk with. Wish some of my former Doctors could be this Caring.

Fairy new to me, However, dealing with significant exacerbation of a chronic problem. Listens to your concerns. Encourages alternative treatments. Wait time significant, but worth the wait.

Insensitive at St. Joseph’s CPEP. Doctor Walked into the room and he didn’t even introduce himself. The whole “evaluation” took about 5 minutes and I was discharged. One would expect compassion and understanding as this is a psychiatric program for emergencies but was met with hostility and annoyance instead. Do not recommend.

I don't understand why anyone would leave Dr Ghaly or his office anything less than a stellar review. Absolutely everyone I deal with in his East Syracuse office is fantastic. I have been to their sleep clinic, have gotten TMS treatments and have seen both Dr Ghaly and Julie Middleton for my depression and GAD. Even the office staff are fantastic. I have seen MANY psychiatrists over the past 27 and Dr Ghaly is one of the best, and TMS saved my life.

He and his staff think that they are the greatest and I found that to be not true. When I asked the doctor for some support because I had 2 bad experiences with his nurses I received an offhanded message from Dr. Ghaly that "either I work with one of his 'girls' or I should leave his practice " Such lack of compassion is irreprehensible. He and his groupies think he is the best in Syracuse. I was grossly mistaken. thank God he isn't the only show inSyracuse. I found a great practitioner .

HIS OFFICE SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME FOR FOLLOW UP VISITS AFTER MY SLEEP STUDY. ESPECIALLY IN THE BEGINNING. I never heard from his office, not once. A year passed and I got scared so I called to see why had hadn't called me to check to see how the C-PAP machine was working and to have me come in for check ups. They said "You haven't seen him for a year since the study so you are no longer a patient here". I was shocked. That's malpractice. They were supposed to be in charge of the follow ups.

Dr. Gahley is amazing at what he does. He is very compassionate and takes the Dr's oath very seriously. I highly reccomend him.

I don't understand how anyone can give this man any less than 5 stars. He is one of the most kind, generous people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He was the only one to correctly diagnose and treat me after several years of suffering with doctors who had no clue. He will take however long you need to answer questions without making you feel rushed. He is extremely knowledgeable. Yes, you need to expect to wait a while but it is absolutely worth it. He really is the best.
