I talk, you listen!
My husband (prostate cancer)was assigned by Kaiser to be Naresh Patel's patient. During our first visit we had lots of questions. When I asked the first question, he snapped at me saying, 'I talk, you listen!' I was asking about genetic testing. My husband's family had a strong history of prostate cancer. He ignored my question saying it doesn't matter the treatment is the same. After getting a new doctor, and doing genetic testing, we learned that my husband did have a genetic mutation for cancer. The treatment was not the same. Mr. Patel, now I talk and you listen.

No bedside manners at all.
He told us not to speak. He said he would do the talking. He took care of my husband for 5 years and when he sent him home to die he didn't even send condolences after. He also told us you can't live forever..when he was fighting for his life. I still have nightmares over the way he treated us. He was always overwhelmed and complaining and couldn't seem to be polite. I would never go back to him.

Dr Patel will likely cost me my life. He should've biopsied my tumor, but instead blamed it on my Leukemia, and then prescribed me $2600/mth Leukemia meds. Tumor grew. Face is paralyzed now. I will likely die because I went undiagnosed for almost six months with new cancer. Never trust this poor excuse for an oncologist.
