Great experience, he is patient, kind, listens to me and has wonderful sense of humor. He explains tests, results, meds and labs for me so I have better understanding of my condition. His staff are wonderful. I pray he and the staff never retire.

Denied care over mask request
I've been a patient of Dr Mody for many years and we always got along. Today, I had an appt to get a cardio clearance for my cervical surgery in 10 days. In the exam room, I asked Dr. Mody to please wear a mask (I was wearing one) as a basic precaution to lessen my chances of being exposed to any cold and flu germs since I'm having surgery in 10 days. Being 76 years old and immune compromised, I thought it was a simple reasonable request. Dr. Mody said no one can tell him how to run his office and he wouldn't see me anymore. I was stunned. Where did all that come from? I told him I wasn't telling him how to run his office, I just asked him to wear a mask while he was examining me. Dr. Mody repeated that no one can tell him how to run his office and he walked out. Dr. Mody dismissed me from his practice all over a simple, basic, easy request for him to wear a mask while he examined me. I was having surgery in 10 days. I was just trying to keep from getting sick!

Would not recommend: HE AND OFFICE STAFF NEED LESSONS in personal relations. Doesn't listen; Doesn't answer questions; and he gets defensive when you try to ask why certain treatments or meds are ordered............ It's a real shame, Dr. Mathews is in the same office. (he is a real people doctor / he visited me in hospital and was so professional. I would sign up with him in a 'heart-beat' if it wasn't for Modi)

My experiences with Dr Mody are horrible. He looked at and talked to my husband instead of me. He never listened to what I said. Mainly to have a Cardioversion and sooner than latter. He left my AFib untreated for over 2 years as was figuring out what was causing it. Meanwhile my heart condition deteriorated. He put me on O2 for 24/7 which did nothing for sleep apnea and my levels stayed the same. He said I was fat and should have by-pass or some kind of surgery and All my health problems would go away. I do not believe any other doctor would have me have surgery with my hearts condition at the time. He may have been a doctor for 27 years (he says 30) but that does not mean he is a good doctor. He is not. He is arrogant, doesn't listen, treats the symptoms and not the problem, experiments with the patients health trying to figure it out, orders useless tests, does not know how to treat AFib. Finally asked to have an Ablation and referred me to Dr. Lee- Super Doctor!!

Had the office manager - partner Mrs. Mody cancel an appointment with no advance notice over a $41 past due balance. What great customer service. NOT! Would not recommend as this is an indication of what they really think of their customers.

Disgruntled Customer in Titusville, FL – Aug 24, 2018

When I first met Dr Mody I really liked him. Then after many tests we met again. He told me I wasn't really allergic to the medications that were on my allergy list. I was stunned by his comments so I said nothing. He then suggested Repatha and I agreed to try it. I filled out all the paperwork to receive a discounted price from the $1000 per injection. I handed over that paperwork on March 13th. I was told 6 weeks and I should get a decent copay. Late June and after many calls no response.

Dr. Mody is great. He has trained his staff to be warm, helpful and professional. His wait time is short and he has enough staff to handle the large volume of patients. His bedside manner is soothing, humorous, friendly, and professional all at the same time. I believe he has saved my life and I thank him for that. He also puts up with my satire in my humor. He has lots of knowledge in his field, especially with drug and surgical intervention.
