Dr. Naoko Ikeda, DO

The following is the experience we had with this doctor. During the visit, she raised her voice when we asked questions, and mentioned that we wouldn't understand the results. During the whole visit she was just rude and unprofessional.

Dr. Ikeda always was courteous except on my last visit in August, 2022. During the entire visit she humiliated me by telling me how fat I was. I am 80 years old and am very aware that I am overweight. Actually, I lost weight while being her patient. I was over 200 lbs. on my first visit and 193 lbs. on my last visit. This was not constructive counseling. I consider it Elder Abuse, and it is my hope that she is counseled on her approach in dealing with an overweight patient, especially when the patient is elderly. I would have given Dr. Ikeda a more favorable rating, but her abusive behavior on my last visit made it impossible. It is my hope that she is counseled on her insulting and abusive way of dealing with a patient who is overweight so that she does not repeat the humiliating way she treated me. I had come in to hear the results of my latest lab work, but she spent the whole visit on my obesity. I am no longer a patient of Dr. Ikeda or of any dr. at Alliance Med. Group.

Dr Ikeda is very cool and funny. She’s totally nice and caring. The only problem is she’s very difficult to hear, so if you have hearing difficulties it could be a problem.

She has been a life saver for me. I have had special needs for some specialists and she has found them for me quickly and with a caring concern. She has a very caring bed-side manner and is very thorough when we are together. She always answers my questions on the website within 48 hours. I love her.
