Success with HSCT
I saw Dr Sicotte in 2014 when first diagnosed. I brought up HSCT and her response was a short laugh and absolutely shot it down. I had HSCT in April 2017 and have been in remission with no DMDs. Just thought a specialist at a renowned hospital should be more up to date on progressive treatments.

Again, since this was my initial visit the doctors didn't have all of the data to make true decisions about the treatment, therefore we couldn't have these discussions. But, with their attention and actions so far, I'm confident they will be open to sharing the truth with me regarding my treatment and care.

Dr. Scicotte asked the right questions and listened to my concerns. Coming from Maryland where I was a patient at Johns Hopkins for 27+ years the transition to Cedars Sinai seamless.

SELF-SERVING RUDE DOCTOR - STAY AWAY
I first saw Dr. Sicotte in October 2021. She is the rudest doctor I have ever met. She walks in and doesn’t acknowledge or ask about how I am feeling today. She barely took any notes about all my complaints. She doesn’t listen and only hears what chooses to hear. She acts oblivious and dumb about procedures. Don’t even ask her for disability she doesn’t believe in it. She acts dumb like she doesn’t know certain things but she’s supposed to be this “world renown specialist.” If you have multiple sclerosis, STAY AWAY! You are better off in another neurologists hands. She’s very self-serving snatching papers right out of my hands. She doesn’t act like she cares about your well being and is VERY dismissive about the complaints you give as a patient. She will dismiss things as being caused by something totally not related to. She will say you’re stressed or you’re frustrated and you need to do yoga.

Dr. Sicotte is a wonderful physician — she took extra time to review my complicated medical case, and even pulled up my previous brain scans to review them herself while I sat in her office! She took the time to explain any questions I had, even my simple questions which were probably very elementary, but she handled all of my questions and details about my case with compassion and respect. MS is an ongoing and complicated journey, and each case is unique — thank you very much!

I'm blown away by the negative reviews on this site and I couldn't disagree with them more. My wife's experience has been wonderful with Dr. Sicotte. She has been extremely thorough and accommodating. Not our first neuro, but the best. I would highly highly recommend.

"Nancy Sicotte" was so RUDE. Very "odd" and sure didn't listen to a single question. She made it seem like she is the "JUDGE" of all human(s). I left the office right away !.
