Great doc! Why did I put it off for 4 years?
I saw Dr. Panko for various issues (nausea, tiredness, and more). She's very personable, smart, funny, and professional--I immediately felt like I was in good hands! She did both my endoscopy & colonoscopy (the thing I put off for years) yesterday and I recovered in record time. No sore throat, very little abdominal pain despite gas used & biopsies taken, and I woke up quickly. (I've had 2 previous endoscopies that made me feel like death.) She diagnosed my problem ASAP, her office immediately sent my new prescriptions in, and I have a follow-up with her next week. (Her office staff also gets an A+.) It's such a relief to find a specialist who listens to you and helps you. And as a woman, I also was thrilled to see a woman surgeon for these problems and unpleasant, embarrassing procedures. If you have to go through them, having a wonderful doctor & person helps SO much. I'm very glad to have been referred to Dr. Panko.'

DO NOT TRUST HER HEALING TIME THAT SHE GIVES YOU
I HAD SURGERY FROM HER. I TOLD HER THAT I HAVE A TRIP PLANNED FOR APRIL, WHICH IS A MOUNTH AND 2 WEEKS BEFORE. ALSO TOLD HER THAT I NEEDED TO BE BACK IN AT THE GYM AS SOON AS I CAN. BEFORE THE SURGERY SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT THE RECOVERY TIME WAS UP TO 6 WEEKS AND THAT IF I FELT GOOD I COULD GO TO THE GYM AFTER 2 TO 4 WEEKS. AFTER THE SURGERY THE FIRST TIME SHE HAD TOLD ME THAT EVERYTHING WAS HEALING WELL SO AFTER TWO WEEKS YOU CAN GO FOR RUNS. THE NEXT TIME I SAW HER SHE TELLS ME THE HEALING TIME COULD TAKE 6 TO 7 WEEKS AND AT THIS TIME I WAS GETTING UP SET BECAUSE THATS NOT SOMETHING THAT SHE TOLD ME WHEN WE FIRST MEET. AT FOUR WEEKS I WAS TO GO IN AND GET MY STITCHERS OUT BUT SHE WASN'T AVAILABLE SO I SAW A DIFFERENT DOCTOR HE WAS THE ONE THAT TOLD ME THAT NORMALLY TAKES 7 TO 8 WEEKS AND THAT IT WOULD KEEP BLEEDING. EVERY TIME I WOULD GET UPSET BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T TELL ME THE LONGEST IT COULD TAKE SHE WOULD SAY "NO WE TOLD YOU" THIS SURGERY WASN'T SOMETHING THAT I NEEDED RIGHT AWAY.
