Dr. Nancy Newman, MD

I had seen Dr. Newman since moving to Louisville 1992. She is a down to earth person, I've always been treated well. She is soft spoken, in which I like (never could tolerate loudness). She answers any questions without any problems. I had to have an endometrial thermoablation done after we tried everything to fix my issue and haven't had any problems since then. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to see her (which saddens me greatly, hard to find a doctor you really like and feel comfortable with). When I called to make an appointment at her new office, the girl on the phone wouldn't hardly let me talk and when I gave her my insurance info and on the 2nd insurance that was it. She just kept saying "we don't accept that insurance". Okay, I was good with that and my primary would have paid for most of it anyway. But she wouldn't listen to me, and let me speak. She was a little rude, so I hung up and had to find a new doctor.

Dr. Newman is a wonderful physician. These type of physicians are typically a thing of the past. I have been going to her for several years for my general Gyno checkups. She was always kind but here is where she really impressed me. I have never had any health issues so when one presented itself she was top notch. She explains in-depth and makes sure you have a complete understanding and ALL your questions are answered. Her communication is incredible. I had several biopsies and test. I set my alerts with the lab to get results when they were in. She also always called that day and went over every result. On my ultrasounds she showed me every frame and what was going on. Prior to my surgery she made sure I was calm and was very caring. I had always liked her but the real test is if you ever have a health condition this is the Dr you want treating you. Lucky for me my problem was able to be cured and I am on the rebound. I am just so thankful she was the one by my side during my issue.

Dr. Newman is *wonderful*. She listens, doesn't rush, and shares so much information. However, her office staff is difficult. I left a detailed message about 2 necessary appointments I needed to book, & never got a call back. When I called 1 week later, had to repeat myself a few times, ask for further details (*where* to go & *who* to call?); it was a dismissive attitude that I didn't appreciate, & was not needed.

Waited almost an hour past appointment time and left without seeing the doctor.

Dr. Newman treats the whole patient. Her examinations & inquiries are very thorough. She is pro-active with preventative healthcare; excellent with diagnosis. I trust her completely. She is always friendly and kind and truly cares about her patients.

Dr Newman is an awesome doctor....she knows her stuff....and guides you with care and respect when helping you with your issues...I could not ask for a more awesome OB GYN

Dr. Newman spends the time with you to explain her evaluation and plan. She cares about her patients on a level that is not found much anymore in medicine as many other MDs are in a rush and don't listen to the patient. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in her field. She knows what to do without hesitation. She is straight forward in her approach and she listens to your input and takes that into consideration when making decisions. She is the most trustworthy MD I have ever known

Dr. Newman has been my OB/GYN for about 20 years. She is kind, gentle, easy to talk to on top of being a great doctor. She helped me through a difficult pregnancy, performed ovarian surgery on me last year and is now guiding me through the beginning stages of menopause. She talks to you like you are a friend, I feel that she genuinely cares about my well being. I would highly recommend her to anyone woman.
