If you are mostly healthy and want a Dr. to subscribe a statin, check your height and weight she could be what you are looking for. If you have any medical issues pop up over the course of the interim between annual exams Dr. Cooper prefers you go tot he emergency room or a walk in clinic. I was looking for more of a practitioner than an 'industry' Dr.

Nancy Cooper is the best PCP I have ever been to. She is kind ,thoughtful and thorough. She saved me when my gallbladder was in serious shape. She made sure that the emergency room did extra tests for gallbladder infection.. Sure enough it was an emergency. If Nancy hadn’t been my advocate I don’t know what would have happened. The best!

If there is minus star, I would have gave her a -5. She is my PCP for past 2-3 years, after my PCP of 15 years retired. I have history of turning a cold to a bad pneumonia. I just had a cold at end of last week then accompanied with low fever daily over the last weekend with bad congestion. I managed to get an appointment to see Dr Cooper on Monday. She did nothing, no X-ray & tests, nor meds. On Wed I communicated with Dr. Cooper via patient portal informing her my fever persist daily & very congested. She did not bother to respond until Friday, a week after my start of fever, her nurse called me back (not her). I reiterate my fever and congestion, cough situation and request a X-ray order before the weekend. But Dr. Cooper decides to not order me a lung X-ray to see if I got pneumonia again, rather she wants push me out to go urgent care center which I have no relationship with. She does not care! Last summer I had similar situation, she did exactly the same. Worst PCP!!

Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Cooper to others. She is a warm, caring, physician and an excellent diagnostician. I am alive today because of her excellent diagnostic abilities ; her early intervention of colon/liver cancer was key to my recovery. Dr. Cooper is very approachable and gifted in treating her patients with expertise, compassion and respect. In my opinion, Dr. Cooper is the most outstanding internist for whom I am fortunate enough to be a patient.
