Worst physician
If I could give zero starts I would. I saw Dr. Bishop at Lakeside in 2008. She nearly let me bleed to death, and then acted like I was mentally ill whenever I started crying, this is after I had two blood transfusions and had to be admitted to the hospital. She asked me if I suffered from mental illness because I was crying. Please, do not go to her, there are better OBGYNs out there.

I was young when I had my first daughter (20). I didn’t really know what to expect during labor, and I was terrified. I finally worked up the courage to ask her a question about the labor process and was sharply cut off with “That’s why we offer childbirth classes. Understand?” Uh-gotcha. Sorry to waste your time, doctor! I was so thankful I delivered in the middle of the night and another doctor was on call-she was absolutely wonderful, and never made me feel like me being fearful and having questions for my physician was a burden to her and was someone else’s responsibility to answer for me. It’s been 14 years since my daughter was born, but my experiences in Dr. Bishop’s office have never left my memory. I hope that things have changed for her patients and no one else, especially young mothers who are scared and alone and too afraid to speak up for themselves, don’t ever have to feel the way that this doctor made me feel.

She was consulted on our case and walked into the hospital room with a chip on her shoulder. Firstly, she addressed us by the wrong name. When we attempted to say that wasn’t our name, she rudely said “You have a question?” VERY standoffish and an overall rude encounter. I feel sorry for those under her routine care. Each question was met with a snappy one word answer. F minus minus minus!

I'm not sure why these other reviews are such garbage but Dr. Bishop is amazing. She delivered my daughter in 2012. She is nonjudgmental and straightforward. My delivery process was amazing. After everything was said and done I remember saying "That was easy, im so lucky" she looked up at me and said "you aren't lucky, you worked hard and followed the rules and that's why it was easy " She made me feel so strong and capable in that moment. She is extremely kind and I would use her again.

First pregnancy. W/ myself, husband, & 2 family members Dr. Bishop entered the room and began an ultrasound. She literally visualized the pregnancy for 1-2 min, stopped, turned to everyone with the rudest, flattest tone and stated, "Well, either you're not as far along as you think you are or there's something wrong with your baby." And walked out. Ordered no further labs or testing, nothing. A week later I became very sick, miscarried, and was treated as a burden during this process. Worst Phys

Dr. bishop pushes flu vaccines on pregnant patients even though they say right on the vaccine insert that they have never been tested on pregnant woman and the safety of this is unknown. Flu shots given during pregnancy increase fetal death rate by 4,250%. Thanks for the flu shot while I was pregnant, Dr.Bishop. I'm lucky my baby is alive.
