Zero communication
Nancy Beck is a good doctor, there is no problem, but whatever you need, you try to call, no reply, zero communication. Even when someone picks up, says I'll call back, nothing. Repeatedly! And that's even if you have a problem with the sensors, broken the remote for the insulin pump etc. You are totally left alone. If you comment on the communication, they will explain to you that it is your fault because it is not in the system. If you have the option to go elsewhere, run.

Stay clear of Dr Beck
She completely mismanaged my child’s care for CDI and AI. She never educated us on these conditions and how to manage them at home. It resulted in us being flown out and readmitted to the hospital. Then they tried to send us home again with no education and his medical issues not under control. We ended up going to another hospital to get assigned a new endocrinologist and have had night and day experiences. She is the only pediatric endocrinologist in Lubbock and clearly doesn’t know what is doing or is too overwhelmed with patients to provide proper care even for life threatening conditions.

Dr Beck listens to all your concerns and is open to listening to any suggestions you have and involves you in your care. She makes you feel like you opinion matters. I highly recommend this physician to anyone who has a child with diabetes.

Stay clear. Office and Dr. were totally uncooperative with rescheduling my daughter apt so she could continue to get her life saving devices for Type 1 Diabetes. Horrible - scary - please choose a different office!.
