Doc has replaced both my knees. I was back to work in three weeks on both of them. I broke my patella, and he is the first one I called. He took care of me. He is a great surgeon! Highly recommended!

Right total knee
I'm 9 months post total knee replacement. 20 years of ski patrol took its toll. 62 year old female. Dr. Dihn gave me my life back. I had pretty bad arthritis, tore my meniscus and couldn't straighten my knee. I wasn't able to walk long distance, dance, play sports. Surgery wasn't as bad as I thought. Took narcotics for 3 days, used walker for 3 days, cane for another 7. Had 3 days home Physical therapy then transitioned to outpatient. PT was amazed at how well I was doing. Did 12 days over 4 weeks of PT. At 4 weeks I meet all PT goals. Even sitting Indian style, 0 extension and 130 flexion. Phyical therapist said most patients of other surgeons are in PT 3 months or longer. Spent a month in Europe walking 7 to 15 miles a day at 6 months. Even long hikes in the Swiss alps!! Back to dancing 3 hours twice a week. My only regret, not having it done earlier!!Thank you Dr. Dihn!!

Total experience. Start to finish.
From the first day to the 3 weeks after surgery, everybody I encountered at Optimotion was extremely helpful and courteous. Dr. Dinh was a pleasure to work with. His bedside manner and professionalism was top notch. I highly recommend this practice. It will not disappoint you.

Poor surgical results
Post TKR healing was slow and PT was not going as well as it should. Almost 2 years post surgery I still have daily pain, limited capacity, and I have to be very careful to avoid certain movements. 2nd opinion proved that there were issues that showed up clearly on scans ordered by Dr Dinh that were never communicated. And what was communicated was incomplete and not completely accurate. Also the recommendation to fix the problem was not medically accurate or complete. I have decided to not have the revision surgery recommended by another surgeon at this time because I do have the necessary post op care available and also I fear that I may end up with even more issues! Although my other knee was also scheduled for a total knee replacement, I will not have that surgery done either because it has now become my GOOD knee! This was not a good surgical outcome or a good care experience!

I love my orthopedic surgeon!
On April 26th of 2024 I had a full knee replacement on my right knee. Dr. Dinh performed the surgery. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Dinh. He has been great with all of my follow up appointments, answering any questions that I had and never making me feel rushed. He was always very patient and seemed glad to stay and answer any questions. Meanwhile, my surgery went so well that I was playing pickle ball after 6 weeks and 2 days from date of surgery. I have played everyday since which has now been almost 10 weeks. I have told everyone that I run into with a knee issue to get an appointment with Optimotion Orthopedics and to be sure and ask for my fav surgeon, Dr. Nam Dinh

Knee Arthroplasty
This was an orchestrated procedure. It went like clockwork. I followed the instructions before surgery 100%. After the surgery I had absolutely no pain when asked where was I at between a 1 and 10 I was at a .5 if that. I followed the post operation procedures. exercised every day went to therapy twice a week. Dr Dinh did a great job I would highly recommend him.

Great Experience
Total left knee replacement Mar 12, 2024. I was walking unassisted on the 3rd day and not a lot of pain meds thereafter. Also, I was done with therapy after 3 weeks, having met all my milestones, but also used the indoor stationary under desk bike 2-3x everyday…an absolute must and Godsend for keeping knee mobile. I cannot say my recovery was typical because I was pretty fit going into surgery. Yoga and acupuncture brought me back even quicker - was riding my electric bike and back to yoga at 3.5 weeks post-op. Started golf again at week 7.5. I am so happy I did it! Thank you doing such a great job, Dr. Dinh!

Dr Dinh was fine, but office staff and follow ups!
Problems with first knee replacement. Problems with second full knee replacement. Problems with liner that was replaced on third surgery. Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!!!!!!

Could not have been better
I had a total left knee replacement. I can honestly say that I expected months of pain and rehab, but the opposite is the case. My pain after surgery never reached a 4 and pain medication was not truly needed. I was walking without aid after 5 days and after 6 weeks I am still moving well. I cannon give a high enough recommendation.

I had a total left knee replacement. Everything was like a well oiled machine. I am extremely happy with my outcome. I highly recommend doing the exercises two MONTHS before surgery and not just two weeks. From the first appointment until now—six weeks out—has been perfect. You must be determined to work hard for your mobility. I highly recommend Dr. Dinh and his staff.

Total Knee Replacement
Dr. Nam Dinh is a great surgeon, explains everything well. Very compassionate concerning his patients care. Very friendly and listens well. My surgery turned out great, I had a R knee replacement, they had the medication prescribed ready for you when had surgery. Very outline regimen to help monitor pain. The surgery it self only lasted an hour. I was able to walk with a walker immediately afterward surgery. No assistive device after 3 days. Full step through gait pattern on day 4. A detailed plan of care for fast recovery. 115 degrees of knee flexion and 0 degree extension at 5 weeks. No complications. Great staff when calling office to assist with medication refills or any concerns. I am thankful I chose Dr. Dinh for my surgeon.

Total Knee Replacement Excellent Surgeon & Outcome
Dr. Dinh is both an incredible surgeon and a great listener. Both pre- and post-surgery he was very interested in my questions, needs and return to activity goals. I have 2 family members that are also orthopedic surgeons so I am very familiar with what I should be looking for in a qualified and caring surgeon. Dr. Dinh gets the highest marks in all categories. Additionally the rehab program that his clinic has is much more advanced than other offices. During my rehab, every physical therapist in the office repeatedly remarked that OptiMotion patients recover weeks faster (and leave PT stronger) than patients from other practices. You also receive a very comprehensive patient packet outlining everything that will happen once you schedule your surgery, step-by-step, no surprises. I found the office staff very professional, accommodating and patient focused.

Incredible Experience.
I recently had a knee replacement surgery with Dr. Nam Dinh at Optimotion Orthopedics and I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. From the initial consultation all the way through my post-operative check-ups, Dr. Dinh was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. The surgery itself went smoothly and the recovery process was much, much easier than I anticipated. Due to Dr. Dinh’s skill and expertise, I have been able to regain my active lifestyle without any pain or limitations, in record time. I highly recommend Dr. Dinh and his incredible team to anyone seeking a much less invasive, knee replacement surgery.

Excellent experience!
Total right knee replacement by Dr. Dinh on 12/05/22 went perfectly. Dr. Dinh clearly explained the surgery in advance and answered all my questions before and after. The procedure he used allowed me to get back to my normal activities almost immediately. Dr. Dinh’s office near The Villages is run in a very professional manner. I have recommended him to many people including participants in my water aerobics classes.

Left Knee Revision - Up and moving about
Awesome. 2 weeks out from a total left knee revision. Many doctors won't touch a knee revision. Dr. Dinh was recommended by several friends, and when I called the office and found out that he did knee revisions I was elated. The entire process was smooth and easy. I'm up, walking and moving about - hard to keep me down. Working on in-home PT and start out patient PT next week. I'm thankful that I found Dr. Dinh!

Absolutely wonderful experience
I had a left knee replacement in November 22. It was flawless fro start to finish. I had my right knee done by another physician. Different procedure as well. I cannot stress enough the significant different between the two. I was back to regular activities in 4 days. PT 2 months which was probably even more than I needed, but want to make sure. At 3 months my knee is doing better than the one I had 11 months ago. Wish I had known, now you do, you will not be sorry to have Dr. Dinh perform your surgery!!

I’ve had a knee replacement two years ago, a hip replacement six months ago, all performed by Dr. Nam Dinh. I’m extremely please with the results. Surgery has certainly come a long way with their new techniques. Going home the same day as the surgery for one. After one week I was able to drive my husband home from his knee surgery. I had a left hip replacement. It’s absolutely amazing how simplified it has become. I had my right hip done six years ago, I was in the hospital three days then three months of therapy. My left hip I came home the same day, then one week off in house therapy. I can’t say enough about how great I found him to be. Very professional!

This Doctor is great! He has a great bedside manner and great sense of humor. My knee had a lot of arthritis so it looked bad and I asked him if he was going to cut all of it out. His reply… don’t worry I’ll make your knee sexy again! I loved that. I’m 6 week’s post op and my progress has been great… I’m at 120 degrees and he was happy with my progress and that the pain was very little. I highly recommend him, I’m excited that I’m pain free now, and walking is much simpler than before.
