Dr. Nageswara Guntupalli, MD

This Dr. was appointed to our daughter at the Aurora facility in Covina. We never met him. Our daughter was transferred to the Aurora facility under the 72 hour hold. (5150). Our child has a medical condition which symptoms exhibits depression & anxiety. We've called the Aurora facility, his office, our daughter's case manager & staff that our daughter needs medical attention not just psychological evaluation. Our child isn't suicidal. She doesn't have a plan nor do she want to die. She wants to come home. We spoke with this Dr. 04242024 He said he would expedite her claim because we're coming to get her 04262024. After 3 attempts of calling... He hasn't returned our call. We found out this evening he placed our child on a 14 day hold (5250) without our consent and without tending to her medical issues of 'hyperthyroidism.' I need answers, because this is negligent, malpractice and denial of medical attention.

I love this doctor even with all the years in his field he really listens to me he listens very carefully and he takes into consideration when I’m feeling and he gives me feedback on that and he allows you to have a say so in your recovery and your release or discharge and he knows when somebody is in trouble he’s just all around super good doctor

Really terrible experience overall. He takes a long time to ever return a call. Really don’t think he is concerned to help in the least bit. Office staff doesn’t follow their word. Very pricey appointments. Steer clear.

If I were you I would steer clear. This doctor does not listen he takes days to call you back when your trying to get ahold of him. He does the bare minimum but charges the absolute maximum. He doesn’t really give any refills on most meds or even discuss meds quickly over the phone to help you out because he wants to charge you for an office visit fee every time there’s an issue with a med or emergency. Which for me is around $150! With covid its even worse good luck getting help from him or a phone call back for at least a week. The lady at the front desk sure doesn’t help that matter. His recommendations on medicine were not impressive to say the least anything he offered I didn’t need because he was recommending dangerous meds that had terrible ratings and side effects. There were even some major contradictions between the meds and he tried giving to me saying that they we’re fine to take together that had major contradictions. Came in for depression and anxiety I’m leaving the same

I had to switch doctors because he just didn't seem to care

i have been seeing dr. guntupalli for over twenty years. i have found him to be extremely kind, generous and empathetic. such a delight and so refreshing in this trying, sometimes difficult world.

I have 3 children that have strong genetic vulnerability to a few mental health problems. Dr. Guntupalli has been so good to my family. He has always been responsive to the needs of my kids, including letters for travel or school.

Doctor Guntupalli is absolutely heartless and soulless. He lied and withheld our child despite her healthy nature and our sobbing eyes purely for his laugh and insurance money. I cannot believe and stress enough how appalled I am by someone of this character. I have never been brought to a higher degree of anger, sadness, and confusion.

Dr. Guntupalli is an excellent psychiatrist. He is very welcoming and has a good sense of humor- always making my office visits quick, efficient, and enjoyable. During each visit, he closely monitors my progress and any changes with my prescriptions. He always encourages me to ask any questions and always reassures me of any concerns that I may have. Overall, Dr. Guntupalli is highly recommended!!!

I would strongly recommend Dr G. Great experience with Dr G. he has been caring for our family for years. I have found him to be a great listener and he has been very conservative with mediation and our concerns about medicating our Children, as seeking this treatment was our last result after trying alternative treatments. . He has a whole child approach, monitoring growth and development as well as treatment results. I would strongly recommend him to any family dealing with ADD/ADHD.

Dr Guntapalli does not over prescribe. He is very careful with medicine. He listens and does not make you feel like you are less. He is a very good Dr. He Does Not Stare At His Computer Screen Like Someone On Here Posted. He is typing in pertinent info regarding you. He is the only Psych that I have ever seen that is very very careful when it comes to prescribing meds.

Patient, professional and willing to work with our autistic teenager. We don't know what we would do without him and his office.

Patient, kind and understanding. Dr. G takes time with his patients. If anything, he is conservative with meds. I'm thankful.

Dr. Guntupalli worked with me for a long time and still does. I came to him at a time when I had many issues in my life and he consistently worked with me to progressively find a solution. He is one of the people in my life who helped me recover and get to the good health I am now in. Appointment after appointment he made adjustments until we found the right solution. He is also a very encouraging In hard times. Professionalism and consistency are only a few of is positive traits.

Office visits are only 15 minutes and cost $100. He speaks too low and stares at his laptop the entire time. If you get bad side effects from medications instead of trying something else he just piles on meds to treat the side effects.

Doctor Guntupalli was very warm and caring and really listened to what both my daughters had to say. He made them laugh and was very helpful. He has called me back within a couple hours. When one of my daughters meds needed changed he called the pharmacy back within 20 minutes and that was on a Saturday. My daughters enjoy talking with him and are very relaxed when they see him.

If I could post s 0 I would he dosent return calls and he dosent listen to you just stairs at his computer and hands out medicine .especially when it's important.
