STAY AWAY FROM HER IF YOU HAVE THRYOID ISSUES! I have a masters degree in biology and was constantly reading medical journals when first diagnosed with my autoimmune thyroid issue. It wasn't until my second appointment with Dr. Eliades and knew I wanted a second opinion that I got my charts did I see she either lied or didn't know that I had both autoimmune markers for thyroid diseases. She also told me it wasn't possible to have both Graves and Hashimoto's which the medical literature does say is possible. So I don't know if she was either unknowledgeable or lying but I am SO thankful a got a second appointment because Dr Eliades tried to push me asap into RAI which I elected not to do and instead got surgery. She also seemed very dismissive in the charts of my concerns and mentioned I seem aggravated.
