Dr. Myint Thway, MD

Dr. Thway had been my Rheumatologist for over 8yrs. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and takes time to listen to her patients. Unfortunately, she recently left the hospital that all my doctors are connected to, due to their bureaucratic nonsense (those are not her words, they are mine). Through searching the internet, I have found where she is now practicing, and I am seriously considering following her there. She is not only a great doctor, but a wonderful woman!

She is on top of her game with a depth of knowledge and obvious experience. She listened with great concern and gave awesome advice.

Sad she is leaving this practice and sad that I am being kicked out as a patient.

I received with great sadness the news that the doctor will only be with UFHEALTH until October. I want to express my gratitude to the doctor, who I consider an excellent professional who shows sincere interest in our health. I wish you a great time always! Thank you.

Go elsewhere for Fibromyalgia. She will diagnose you but is not interested in seeing you past that point.

Dr Thway is an excellent physician who works very closely with me to thoroughly explain my health issues so that I have a clear understanding of what I need to do to stay on top of my chronic illness. She informed that she is leaving, I am going miss her thoroughness.

After being a patient since 2015 she has written to pharmacy that She will no longer refill my medications and would need to go see another Rheumatologist! All due to an MA who told me my medication was denied for refill until I scheduled an office visit.. obviously this is upsetting as it's a once a month dose of biological medication that would cause me to flare up without it. This could affect everything..my job, my well being. I'm annoyed at this point so I respond that it appears I have no choice but to take the appointment. Yet the MA does not set the appointment. So in turn Dr Thway writes in chart how I'm non compliant by not making appointment therefore she will no longer refill or see me as a patient! Yet I just saw her in December of 2023 and another Rheumatologist at her office in April 2024!! I took recent labs in April! UNREAL AND POOR PATIENT CARE!!

She paid attention to me instead of her computer. I liked that she had someone taking down all the notes of our conversation so she could focus on me.
