Dr. Tabbaa : Simply the Best!
I'm 78. I've been treated by well over 20 doctors in my life. I spent 20 years on Long Island, New York, the best doctors?? I know within 10 minutes of my first visit if my doctor is exceptional. I'm different than most patients. I spend time preparing for my appointment. I know what typical treatment is going to be. I read medical articles on my condition to have a meaningful discussion. I'm looking for the doctor that stands out. I'm looking for the doctor that knows and shares treatment that most doctors don't. I'm looking for a doctor that cares about me. I'm looking for a doctor that spends the time needed. I found that Doctor. Doctor Tabbaa is one of the best doctors that I've known on all levels. I give him my highest rating because he deserves it. If you want to be treated by the best, make your appointment today.

Dr. Tabbaa has been my Neurologist for 18 ears
Dr. Tabbaa has an excellent bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and accurate with his diagnosis. I was under the care of a doctor at a large, well known learning medical center and had gone undiagnosed for five years. Dr. Tabba diagnosed my condition of abdominal migraines within my first few visits. His nursing staff has always been kind and thorough . The office is staff is friendly, and accommodating, They schedule appointments around my needs and not their’s. Dr. Tabbaa’s wife is always ready to help as well. She always speaks to the patients and goes above and beyond to put you at ease. I once saw her sit with a patient’s unruly child and was able to calm the situation with soft and loving care., (the child became her friend). I can’t imagine having any other neurologist than Dr. Tabbaa.

Rude and disrespectful
He entered with no smile or eye conduct throughout visit. Tried to humiliate me, belittled my complaints, called me a “complainer”. I do have a genetic mental health condition and I felt like that influenced his treatment of me. I am also a retired healthcare professional, and served for years in the USAF as a Captain. I felt that my knowledge of medical terminology bothered him. I was there for his expertise. Something I needed and was willing to follow his guidance. I am also an older woman, and I felt that he talked down to me. On physical exam, he hit my knees so hard with the reflex hammer. I felt it would leave a bruise. He repeatedly hit me on each knee and then accused me of “faking” my reflexes. While scraping the bottom of my feet, it was forceful and painful. I said that it hurt, but he continued.. I told him that I felt he had come in with “preconceived notions” about me. He ordered an EEG and left the room without saying goodbye. A family member witnessed all of this

You can be the best doctor in the world, but if your front desk staff are rude and incompetent...it doesn’t really matter. We walked out of the office without ever seeing Dr. Tabbaa due to the way my daughter was treated by the lady at the front desk. I am not sure why you would put a women with an IQ under 50 at your front desk. Not to mention her attitude from hell. Do yourself a favor, find a doctor and office staff that appreciate your business and will treat you with respect.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tabbaa for over 5 years. He is very kind, thorough, and compassionate. He takes time to listen and does a complete exam. My TIAs have diminished as well as my daughter's migraines and my daughter in law's epilepsy symptoms. His direction for your care may not be what you had in mind but it works. He tries to avoid medication for treatment as much as possible but will prescribe if necessary. I highly recommend Dr. Tabbaa for your neurological needs. His front desk person is not a good fit for his office, she is rude and has no compassion. His nurse is very nice, and caring. Often times his wife will be in the office and she is very nice and compassionate as well. Payments are due and expected at check in.

I have been going to Dr. Tabbaa since March. I am very satisfied with my treatment. I had to go to the emergency room in another state on a Sunday and he quickly responded to the ER doctor. He spends a lot of time with me at each appointment and I am so happy my PCP referred him

Dr. and office staff have no bedside manner at all, and didn't inform me that they were currently in a temporary residence/ cash only. The nurse that actually completed the procedure was the only one who seemed to care at all. Went for chronic wrist pain with known cause, and was told to simply "take vitamin B" and the Dr. left with no other discussion/ time for me to ask questions. Have not heard ANYTHING since then, and spoke to my GP and will be receiving a 2nd opinion from another Dr. soon.

I was t-boned by an uninsured driver who recklessly whipped around a stopped semi at a high rate of speed and bashed my head on the frame of my vehicle on impact. Thankfully I was wearing a seatbelt. Needless to say I had a concussion among other things and my insurance company sent me here for evaluation. Doctor said that I was perfectly healthy, suggested I was faking it, and to go elsewhere. Wow.

Dr. Tabbaa is great. I've never had any kind of problem with him or his staff. He told me he is going to take me off some of my meds which I wasn't totally comfortable with but he explained why which made sense. We unfortunately weren't able to do it but he's the only Dr that has ever set a goal of trying to take me off some of my medication. He isn't the kind of Dr that wants to give you medication after medication. He always asks about my kids. I'd definitely recommend him.

I was diagnosed with GBS 6 weeks ago. We just arrived in Panama City beach and was looking for a neurologist. Having spent several weeks in the hospital, I met with several neurolists and Doctors. None of them could compare with my visit today with Dr. Tabba. He was very knowledgeable, answered my many questions and gave me great hope for a recovery. I'd recommend using him for a relaxed, comfortable, and sometimes humorous experience.
