He is very knowledgeable and polite. Tells it like it is. He has helped me and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Answers all questions I might have with complete honesty. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good and compassionate doctor. I am glad I started going to him and will never change. There should be more doctors like him.

I have been using Dr. Patel for 6 years and have never really had a problem with him , however his staff is generally awful, rude crude and extremely unprofessional, Especially the receptionist Shannon or whatever her name is. Kathern a new recruit is the only one in the organization with manners and a positive approach to her position and to the client. I am not the only person with this complaint, when there is anyone in the reception area, most agree with me. Patel is also very negligent in renewing refills which are life long prescriptions on a monthIy basis, I would imagine the staff is largely responsible for this negligent manner of operation too. I would not recommend Patel to anyone in need. I am hook up with Optimum Insurance which is largely the reason I have remained as a customer. I will am looking currently for another provider now in the system and hopefully will find one in the near future.

I saw Dr. Patel for the first time last Monday. He is professional, kind, and patient. His staff is also very kind and professional. I switched insurance and had to change my PCP. I believe I like Dr. Patel better than my former PCP.

Office staff incompetent and rude. Dr Patel was argumentative and rude and very unprofessional. Referred to me through Optimum Health Care. If they try to put you with this group, tell them you want someone else. I needed a referral to see my pancreatic specialist because I am new to the Optimum Program. Mind you, I have been seeing this specialist for almost 1 year. Dr Patel gave me crap because I waited until now to make the appointment with him, as my specialist appointment is this Thursday (Today is Monday) First, I was not enrolled in Optimum until Nov 1st. Secondly, people from his staff contacted me in October and told me I needed to fill out some papers and send them back before they could make an appointment. This happened twice, and neither time did they follow through and send the "required" papers. Finally, I got in touch with someone from his office that was shocked that they dropped the ball like that, and she went ahead and made me the earliest available appointment (w

Very Poor. Tries to get into your personal information that is none of his business. He thought it was strange that I don't work and made a comment about it. I'm retired after 35 years as a public servant. He needs to stick to Doctor questions. I will never go to him again.
