Outstanding
Our deepest gratitude for the outstanding care Dr. Janjua provided to my husband during his recent surgery. His expertise, dedication and compassion made an immense difference during a challenging time for our family. His skill is truly remarkable, but it was his kindness and attentiveness that truly set him apart. From the moment we met him, he took the time to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment options, alleviating our concerns and ensuring we felt informed every step of the way. His patience and willingness to answer our questions were incredibly reassuring. Throughout my husband's recovery from brain surgery, his attentiveness and commitment to his well-being were evident. His professionalism combined with his genuine care for his patients is a testament to his exceptional character as a medical professional. He played a significant role in my husband's journey to recovery, and for that, we are forever grateful. Thank you Dr. Janjua, your nurse Sarah, and Team!

A top notch Neurosurgeon
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Janjua. I saw him in August and was diagnosed with a benign brain mass that was quite large. He could tell I was a bit overwhelmed and told me to take some time to think about it and to come back. I was still apprehensive and a bit scared of brain surgery. He got right to the point and laid it on the line. He didn't mince words about the mass and why it 'had to go' which is just what I needed to hear. I appreciated his honesty. My surgery went great. Recovery has been much easier than anticipated. The office staff at the Neuroscience Center in Belleville are fantastic. Sarah was very helpful and was quick to reply to my online messages. My primary care told me I was in great hands with Dr. Janjua, and he was right!

Very Rude
Dr. Janjua could be the best surgeon ever but I wouldn't return to his office due to his rude behavior. He spent 2 minutes in the initial consultation with me. Didn't go over my x-rays with me. He was extremely rude if I tried to ask a queston, which he never answered. He had a plan in his mind that he shared with his nurse to schedule. He was then done with me and left the room. I burst in tears. I have never been ignored by any doctor like this. I am not sure if this was due to their office moving my appointment up by a day and overscheduling him or if he is just a rude person. Needless to say I won't be having anything done there.

Feel amazing
Dr. Janjua did my disctectomy and I feel great. My scar is very flush to my skin and my pain is completely gone. The only issue I had was getting ahold of his office staff to fill out my disability paperwork, i called multiple times and left messages but no one ever called me back. But as a doctor he was phenomenal.

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Janjua took time in each visit to thoroughly explain the procedure prior to surgery so that I was comfortable with my decision - which didn't come easily. Dr. Janjua took his time during surgery to accomplish was needed for my back fusion. It was the best decision I made. Follow up appts he was as thorough with x-rays and explanations, not rushing through anything. A few months later, although I am still healing, I am feeling so much better. He is professional and courteous. I would and have recommended him to others. His nurse is on her game too and super personable.

Gifted surgeon
Dr. Janjua performed emergency back surgery on me and most likely prevented paralysis. He was very informative and supportive both before and after surgery. I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery.

Back surgeon I came
I came to dr janjua as a referral from my primary dr wade.i had been rear-ended in a auto accident. My back was terrible I was walking with a cane, the Sciatic nerve on my right side was effecting my gait and he took me in and said I needed back surgery immediately. Two days later he operated on my back. I went in walking with a cane...23 hrs later I walked out of the hospital all by myself. He is an amazing dr. After 20 physical therapy sessions I'm close to being as normal as I can be. Great dr. I recommend him and his office staff they were all so nice they made the nervous go away. I'm proof of his quality work. By the way...I'm 68 years old. Thanks everyone in his office.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Janjua.
I came to Dr. Janjua as a referral. I was nervous in the beginning knowing I needed spinal/ back surgery. During my first visit he basically told me from my symptoms what needed to be done. After the MRI and cat scan it was confirmed as he predicted. Surgery is now 6 weeks old and I'm pain free for the 1st time in 5 years. That makes me happy.

Incompetent doctor
The doctor was incredibly rude dude will not take the time to look at the imaging, and I provided after showing up an hour early to the appointment so they could download the imaging onto their computers, also brought in numerous documentation, and the doctor came in and said that he was not able to see my imaging. He was having me come up with everything at the imaging the reports and the other doctors has stated off the top of my head, which I am not a medical professional, in any kind of way.

Very Rude, Obnoxious, uncaring
He doesn't know how to listen and jumps to conclusions. If you've been in an accident then he assumes you are a lazy money grubber. He lied on my patient review that was posted to BJC Epic health system. Avoid this man and go elsewhere.
