Dr. Abbas met me at his office at an inconvenient time due to my work schedule which was a very nice courtesy. Only to be followed by the fact that I ended up being almost twenty minutes late and he waited for me. I traveled pretty far to see him and it was worth it. He took a good amount of time to evaluate me, complete a thorough history intake and informal assessment. He asked me my own opinions, thoughts, and wants. We were able to develop a plan of care that we both agreed would benefit me. I was very happy with his care and that I found him. He was direct but also caring which I appreciated. I highly recommend.

Definitely not. My husband went to him for depression. He focused on the fact that he was an addict (ignoring he was a recovered addict almost 20 years) Rude and very disrespectful. Guess what? Hes not the only psychiatrist in town. I would never recommend him to anyone. Surprised he even is in business with that attitude.

Dr. Abbas is disrespectful, demeaning, and accusatory. Quite an embarrassment to see the title of a doctor in front of his name. If anything is going to be the cause of my anxiety, it’s him. If he needs a friend, why won’t he just say so?

I finally found a psychiatrist who cares about my well-being! He took the time to answer all of my questions. I was having issues with my medications and he truly made sure I was on the right meds to stabilize my mood. He cares about his patients and follows up on issues talked about in previous appointments. His staff is also caring and helpful.? I feel totally comfortable going to him for my needs.

Very unprofessional. Does not return phone calls (was told he's too busy). Accuses patients of inappropriate behavior. Would not recommend.

Dr. Abbas does not listen to his patients. He's very abrupt and at times rude. He has an authoritative approach, and makes it clear that because he is a doctor, he knows best. He does not invite conversations. It's "his way or the highway- literally". He threatened to kick me out of his office just because I had a question. I am a clinical social worker and therefore very educated about mental health and I know I have the right to ask questions. He does not believe in answering them.

Very cold. Walked out mid session after yelling at me for my phone going off, because I wasn't respecting his time. Triggered me with his confrontational authority. Then Proceeded to ask me very personal details about my trauma after I was already crying from his actions. I almost walked out. Took no time to explain the process or side effects of the medication he put me on until I pressed him about it. Never went back.
