Dr. Hedge Not Khan
As a patient of CoxHealth, and CoxSouth Springfield MO and The Martin Center in particular, I have been stunned by the astounding bloated layers of management and the myriad of antiquated processes that mire CoxHealth in inefficiency across the organization. The Martin Center , part of the CoxHealth family, was one of the worst outpatient experiences that I have ever had. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy by Dr. Rajesh Hegde and was given an extensive list of requirements needed prior to the procedure which I followed explicitly. Once I arrived I discovered the list did not match the list of requirements needed by the Martin Center ! And they wouldn't do my colonoscopy! I called Dr. Hegde's office FROM The Martin Center and they TRANSFERRED my call to customer service!! And then, I got a voice mail from customer service! Finally after 6 or 7 emails from me, I got a call from a Cox administrator apologizing . No call EVER from Hegde .The best part? A letter 3 weeks later from Alanna

They overbook. We waited an HOUR and 14 minutes past Check in time! I was told this is normal. It shouldn't be normal, there is no excuse to disrespect the patients' and driver's time this way. That said the doc and staff are knowledgeable and mostly pleasant.

Dr. Kahn is a great doctor. He knows his stuff. The best thing about him is he is always in a great mood, and always listens before he starts telling you what's wrong with you. He also explains everything a lot better than other specialist doctors I have seen in the past.

Dr.Khan was amazing. After years of dealing with severe digestion issues, I was lucky enough to have my colonoscopy scheduled with Dr.Khan. While waiting for my procedure, he came in and spoke to me about my history, my concerns, my questions and made me feel both heard and understood. Afterwards, he spoke to myself and my husband about my new found condition. He made it easy to understand my diagnosis, and made a prompt follow-up appointment in his office. He was one of the best doctors at Merc
