Dr. Mourad Abouelleil, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr.A since 2016He is the kindest most understanding doctor I have ever encountered and being a woman that means a lot!Working with me we have staved off my bladder cancer reoccurrence for 7 years now! Even though I have to travel to see him now it is for my best health outcome. He is new to south Florida but please if you have any health issues he specializes in see him.You won’t be disappointed!

As patient of Dr Abouelleil for 6 years, he and his staff have provide exceptional care. Would recommend him highly.

For one, there aren’t many Urologists in the area. But after visit to ER he was recommended. Visits for recheck were fine. Got tests needed to confirm my problem was resolved. But soon what i thought was a UTI, I called Dr. to get antibiotic. A test was ordered first to confirm. Then was to begin the antibiotic. We never got results from test, so as it turns out antibiotic was not necessary. But simple communication from DR would have been appreciated. Got an appointment to follow up with Dr. and he acted like no big deal, you didn't have UTI, and wondered who gave the script for the antib. Even though it came from his office. Was a very frustrating visit needless to say. He sometimes gives impression if its something other than doing surgery, he's not interested. So don't know how to feel about this DR. Also was told kidney stone was gone, but scan showed it isn’t. Now symptoms coming on again.

I have been seeing Doctor Abouelleil for several years now for general checkups and oversight of my health in this area as I have had several kidney stones on and off over the years. But in recent months I needed help outside of kidney stones that required surgery to help me use the rest room better, it was laser surgery that worked incredibly well, and Doctor Abouelleil preforms himself. But along with the problem being solved personally it was the staff with scheduling my procedure and with answering every question. Then hospital staff the day of the procedure and of course doctor Abouelleil himself who spoke with me before and after the procedure and stayed with me with fallow up appointments till I was 100% back to normal. Thanks to Doctor Abouelleil and his staff I am better now than I have been in years. Outstanding service sums it up I will continue to be his patient for the years to come and thank You again for such great care. Kevin Zimmerman

I was so lucky to find this doctor! Dr. Mourad Abouelleil is the most outstanding doctor I have encountered for my enlarged prostate. To start, he has a wonderful bedside manner. He was very open, honest and thorough in describing my condition and the options that were available to treat my problem. He then went out of his way to fit me into his busy exam and operating schedule. Then, after reviewing the MRI of my prostate he told me that even though my prostate was 4x normal, he could do the surgery to remove the blockage. He gave me a sense of complete confidence. My experience with the surgery was outstanding! I felt no pain during or after the operation and all personnel at the Rockledge Regional Medical Center were fabulous. Now, I have my life back and I am free to resume normal activities. I cannot say enough to describe how well I was treated by Dr. Abouelleil and everyone in his office or at the Hospital. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a condition similar to mine!

Dr. A assisted me during a 911 event where I had a full bladder but could not pee, which is VERY uncomfortable. He's a take charge person who conveys that he knows what he's doing while at the same time does so with a very nice approach. I highly recommend him.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Shania, a medical assistant who works with Dr. Abouelleil. About ten days after my surgery I had a follow up appointment to perform a small procedure. Shania was absolutely professional, kind and apathetic. She quickly put me at ease and offered a calming presence. Dr. Abouelleil made the recommendations for a difficult diagnosis of prostate cancer. We are so grateful for his knowledge of the disease and how to best treat it. His staff is grand as well--understanding of people who are really afraid of the "c" word.

Dr. Abouelleil is a fantastic doctor. He performed a prostatectomy on me and due to his surgical skills I have been cancer free since. His follow up care has made recovery a breeze and his concern for me as a patient has been outstanding. I have been blessed to have this man as my surgeon and care giver. I was new to the area and needed a prostate resection, Dr. Abouelleil was recommended by my primary physician. He explained the need for the surgery— was very clear and kind. He performed the surgery in early January and I just had a 3-month useful and uneventful follow up. I give him and his staff my unqualified endorsement.

He and his staff, during this COVID-19 pandemic, took extra care in comforting his patients (no family and/or friends were allowed access into the hospital). Do not gamble with your health. Dr. Abouelleil took over my care when my previous Urologist disappeared. I could not ask for a more knowledgeable and understanding doctor. I am pleased that my issues are now being managed with minimal visits when previously I was doing the same multiple tests every month with no answers.
