Dr. Monique Spillman, MD

It was my second follow-up visit after my hysterectomy. Dr. Spillman was prompt and took time to answer my questions w/o seeming to be rushed.

She answered all my questions, plus explained in layman terms so I could understand.

Dr. Spillman is always professional, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to with my many questions on treatment.

Dr Spillman is incredibly knowledgeable. She explains everything and makes sure you understand what you are facing and how she and her team will help you. Dr Spillman is very kind, sympathetic and happily has a great sense of humor! She and all of the amazing folks on her staff took my hand and guided me from diagnosis through treatment to being cancer free where I am today! We all worked together and I could not have asked for a better doctor!!!

Dr, Spillman and her entire staff in Abilene and Dallas are Exceptional, there are no other words to describe them all. Dr. Spillman did my cancer surgery in Dallas and bless her heart! she comes to Abilene for my appt.!!!! I absolutely Love her and her staffs. This is one Doctor I would recommend for anyone who has to deal with endometrsis cancers like I had.

Routine 6 month check-up

She explained everything she was doing and she listened to whatever I said or asked so far I like her

I thought Dr Spillman was great. I was very tense and concerned at the appointment but, from the beginning upon entering the room, Dr Spillman made me very comfortable and more relaxed.

I felt she was not telling me the truth about my cancer! Would say everything was ok! If we did not get test results off portal our self she would not have told the results! Test results showed cancer on ovaries, bilateral tubes, omentum, stomach, pelvic sidewall, intestines, peritoneal, ascites metastasized. If we had not got test results ourself we would have thought everything was ok based on what she had told us! She did not like to answer my husband question!

I'm a post-cancer-surgery patient and have been seeing Dr. Spillman every six months. Hands down, she is the best physician I've every had the privilege to have in my life. Most surgeons--well, you know. Not this woman. She cares about you, gives you plenty of time, gets to know you, and fully supports you. She's just the best (as are her assistants).

She provided my surgery for endometrio-ovarian cancer. She has continued to provide follow-up appointments for the past two years. She has recently scheduled me a pet scan or concerns that I have at this time.

She always makes you feel comfortable and answers any questions that I have. Her nurse is really helpful too.

Dr Spillman is professional, attentive to patient's description of symptoms. She takes time explaining possible sources of the problem and the different approaches for treatment. She is very skilled and knowledgeable in her area.

Oh my goodness! Dr. Spillman and I did not begin well at all. She was not my initial choice. My case was given to her, I guess. However, her excellence in her field made my differences with her melt away in a hurry. I am a detail oriented person, and Dr. Spillman worked diligently to help me understand through communication AND through allowing me to receive copies of the tests, so I could "attempt" to understand. I just today offered her name for a friend's friend who has similar symptoms that I did. I will be Dr. Spillman's patient until she "kicks me out!!!"

Cold, impersonal, uninformative. Always in a hurry. More interested in creating business for the medical system than responding to patient needs.

She did my cancer surgery. I am overweight, but she took great care of me. She did robotic surgery on me. She was awesome. She also had to call another surgeon in because I had so much scar tissue. She is number one and I woul give her 10 stars
