Absolutely great experience! Dr Baruah explained everything very well. Answered my questions and never did I feel rushed. Great surgeon.. I have had no pain since the surgery.Very highly recommend Dr Baruah!

Dr. Baruah performed a hysterectomy on me. During the surgery a vein was compromised leading to immediate emergency surgeries to stem intense hemorrhaging.

Horrible doctor! She never cares about her patient. I made an appt and saw the nurse practitioner first. The nurse practitioner was great! When we found out I was pregnant after doing the testing, the office told me that I must meet with Dr Baruah. We were 13 weeks pregnant when we found out. They made an appt for me and they canceled it afterward. It got rescheduled and the minute she walked into the office to see us, she said that I was high risk due to diabetes and referred me to Syracuse. She wasn’t even going to do any testing until my husband and I demanded that she should at least examine me and do some blood work to eliminate genetic abnormalities. I didn’t have any doctor and wasn’t able to get an OB until I was 19 weeks into pregnancy. This was our first baby. Dr Baruah also listened to the baby’s heartbeat and this would have been the first time us listening to it and never made it special since she just put the wand on belly without saying anything. No bedside manner!

I don’t understand the negative reviews on this dr? I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Baruah and her staff, especially one of the nurses Carrie. She takes her time with you and thoroughly explains things. I would highly recommend her!!

Does not think about the patient. Only cares about the sound her account makes when she is done with you. Never took the time to actually listen to you! She will do anything to get you off her back. She will offer procedures and state that “there are no side effects” well I am here to tell you there are side effects! Please learn from my mistake steer away! I would never trust her not even with an insect!

She was rude, sarcastic and left me w a serious painful infection with no testing or pain meds. She couldnt wait to leave the room. Never again.

I would recommend this doctor to others because she explained things in a way that didn't totally frighten me. She was very honest and up front and made her expectations of me very clear. My questions were answered concisely and informatively. I had an operation with her and I am one day out, and I have very little pain, if any at all.
