Ignored my concerns- I needed surgery
Dr. Norwick didn’t listen to my concerns. When I went somewhere else I found out I needed surgery. I kept trying with her and was continuously disappointed. She’s condescending acts like she knows it all and ignores your concerns. I finally gave up on her.

Jess
I've been seeing Dr. Norwick annually for 9 years, and I've always had a good experience with her. Now that I am pregnant, I'm grateful to continue under her care.

Unprofessional
I’ll be honest I don’t believe this clinician looked at my chart once in the entirety of my seeing her as my OB throughout my pregnancy. I understand that healthcare is extremely overwhelming right now but it’s no excuse for the multiple instances she proved she had no idea what was going on with my care. I once wrote about pain I was experiencing and she wrote back saying it was alright unless it was the EXACT pain I’d written about to her to begin with. When I pointed out she obviously hadn’t actually read my message she called and backtracked. It left a sour taste in my mouth and I ended up switching OB’s at 36 weeks who was very kind and understanding of the situation and thankfully delivered a healthy baby.

Came in with a bunch of concerns: low sex drive, inability to lose weight despite a strict diet counting macros (she also tried to mansplain macros/good dieting to me), low energy, super emotional, and chronic yeast infections. She told me low sex drive was normal for a 26 y.o. because men think about sex “all the time” and women just lose it (this has been proven false. Women’s sex drive is supposed to increase as you get into your 30s?!) and that my hormonal IUD *couldn’t* be causing any of the other issues. Said I didn’t need to worry about the yeast infections unless they were “super itchy.” I felt like I was in a 1950s office when she was asking about when I got married to piece together how long I had been sexually active—so ridiculous as I’ve been for 10+ years. She assumed I wanted kids at every appointment as well. I am so disappointed with her care. Don’t see her if you’re looking for a new gyno.

I’m in the medical profession. I thought dr. norwick was rude, dismissive & frankly uninformed. She just doesn’t listen & acts like she knows it all.

Dr. Nowick was insulting, provided substandard care. She used juvenile language such as "female hormones" to describe my condition and when I asked for appropriate vocab she looked frustrated and refused to attempt to code switch. Wrote "secretive" in notes when I said I am not sexually active. Wrote Rx for hormonal BC, when I voiced concern she spent three mins telling me it does not cause weight gain but brushed off the vomiting that had caused me to miss work last time, and failed to even verbally acknowledge at all what I'd emphasized was my primary concern (severe mood swings/depression) even when I brought that up a second time. When I said I'd had success in the past managing weight/PCOS symptms in the past w/diet she pursed her lips and looked frustrated. Dismssve offhand remark at end of appt about potential of infertility. I cried for a week after appt. Park Nicollet has failed to acknowledge my complaints. Had to see other Dr, the Drs at AALFA have been polar opposite.

I did not feel that Dr. Norwick listened to my concerns nor her examination complete. It is a week later and I still have the same problems.
