Dr. Mona Abdel-Bary, MD

I was so uncomfortable with this person that I deeply wanted her replaced. Mona didn't care, and it showed plainly. I'd suffered a vicious dog bite to the face and was in need of a compassionate physician. The impression she left was so strongly negative that I wanted to track her name down to warn others. I was busy figuring out a new place after the landowner's dog bit me, so I put it aside, but I never forgot how I felt. Looking at my records, lazy Mona had put down that I had no lack of interest/pleasure or feeling down/depressed at all. I was trapped in a lease because my roommate refused to vacate when I'd paid the entire deposit, a dog bite cutting down the entirety of my nose, and I'm not depressed or lacking interest in life at all? Mona NEVER ASKED and put down whatever she felt like. This proves that she had no right being in that room. To a victim of a landlord's negligence, Mona's appalling negligence was a blow I didn't need. To be reminded like this makes me feel sick.

I have finally found my new Primary Care Physician. Dr. Abdel-Bary was extremely thorough and took my concerns seriously. She is a caring and attentive physician, and after years of working in Health Care Administration, I know how difficult that is to find. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a PCP.

I will never recommend Dr. Abdel-Bary. As someone who is uninsured, I went to see Dr. Abdel-Bary for a blood pressure medication refill. It is not a new med for me and my blood pressure was good when she checked it, but she would only give a prescription for 90 days. In the past, physicians have always refilled for one year. Unfortunately, Dr. Abdel-Bary ignored my concerns about not wasting money so I would be able to come back for other health issues. She doesn't care about her patients.
