One of the worst Psychiatrists I have ever met. She was trained at a medical school in Barbados. She prescribed medications that negatively interact with other prescribed medications and prescribed two anxiety medications at the same time which caused serotonin syndrome, which included symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, and excessive sweating. A complaint was lodged with state officials.

Dr.Ahmed treated me like a liar and often made me feel embarrassed and ashamed. I had a hard time remembering to take my medication and be consistent (part of my diagnosed disorder), and she treated me like I "must not actually want to get better". One time, without my permission, she called my pharmacist and then my partner to "verify" when I pick up and take my prescriptions because she didnt believe me. It was mortifying. She made it incredibly difficult for me to get the leave of absence i needed for my disorder. She repeatedly filled out my paper work incorrectly/or not all the way and made me miss the paperwork deadline at one point, and even after she said she wants to me admitted as an inpatient due to the seriousness of my depression, told CIGNA that i only needed 6 days a YEAR for leave of absence. She is why I stopped getting help for my disorder.

I started seeing Dr.Ahmed for my depression and anxiety, at first she asked me if I was trying to get social security, I told her yes, but that wasn't why I was there. She proceeded to report all of her dealing with me falsely in order that I wouldn't recieve benefits. After I wad denied benefits she asked me if my claim was finished, I said yes I read denied and her replay was"and you are still coming to see me, ok I believe you now" very untrustworthy to day the least.

I am in recovery from drugs and alcohol. Dr. Ahmed had me on so many medications at once, I felt as though she didn't listen to me as a person. She also tried to prescribe me adderol, for anxiety, which is not even relevant. Not to mention that you CANNOT give that drug to recovering patients. Overall, horrible doctor. Would NOT recommend!!!
