Loved this doctor
I saw this doctor at an urgent care when I was in a really bad place. He took the time to really listen and understand what was going on and did appropriate testing and treatment. I was really nervous going into my visit but it could not have gone better. If I ever have to go back I hope he is on duty!

Beware: arrogant disregard for patients
Dr. Niktash is the most condescending doctor I've ever encountered. His ego is more important to him than patient-centered care. His blatant disregard for diagnoses from other doctors and his patients' requests is not only disrespectful but dangerous. Particularly if you are a woman, steer clear of this doctor, as he will have no interest in hearing what you have to say. Saying something like 'your risk is my risk' when a patient faces a life-threatening illness is disgusting, untrue, unprofessional, and, again, disregarding the experience of the patient. Dr. Niktash, retire already - make room for people who are in medicine to care for others, not just to feed their own fragile ego. You should be ashamed.

Disrespectful
I heard him in the hall with a nurse who was just in my room about having labs done. He stated 'why is she still requesting labs the test was done.' Previous experience with labs Ive had not so good in general.. So I preferred a blood test over a swab that was done months ago, I rather see my results in blood word. He looked at me & in a condescending way said 'what don't you understand about biology, your going against my knowledge, sometimes as a patient its not about what you want' & denied me treatment & told me to go to my PCP & take my concerns there. If you are someone who wants to feel comfortable talking to a 'doctor' who will listen & not feel threaten based on your personal decisions & question this provider is not the one.

Great experience
I went to this doctor in the urgent care and he listened to all of my concerns and encouraged me to ask all the questions that I had and go through everything that I was worried about while making sure that I understood everything. He made a great plan of action and I had an overall great experience

Dr. Niktash was very polite and listened to my concerns. He did a very thorough review of my medical history before he came to see me (back several years) and I was very impressed with his attentiveness. When given a urine sample, Dr. Niktash not only preformed every test under the sun in their office, but also insisted on sending it out for culture just to be sure. Overall, I found Dr. Niktash to be one of the most competent and attentive doctors I have ever seen. Would recommend him to anyone
