Would be hard to be worse
As reported by Eric above is extremely unknowledgeable and disparaging about treatment for ADHD and also compared my prescription (from my long-term psychiatrist) to meth. Would not listen to any of my symptoms and blamed everything on weight. Turns out I have an autoimmune thyroid condition so of course have struggled with weight. Just a terrible doctor.

Thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable
I had come in to see Dr. Ansari for Diabetes and my HbA1C was 16, I had lost hope, I was overweight and on multiple medications. Dr. Ansari helped me to get off half of my medications, lose more than 30 lbs and my HbA1C came down to 6.0 on less medications than before, with lifestyle changes and dietary advice. If you truly want to regain your health, go see Dr. Ansari.

Wellness Approach!
Dr. Ansari is an awesome physician. He helped me loose so much weight and I was able to get off half my medications. If you want to be healthy go to him, if you want to keep taking pills and more pills the rest of your life then go somewhere else. I am absolutely recommending him to all my family and friends.

Horrible
I had an appt in April 2022, this was my 1st app.t with him. He walked into room said hello and sat down in front of computer and I know he was reading my Chart. He didn’t say anything for at least 3 or 4 min. He then checked my ears and listened to my heart. He said oh you have a valve problem. I said yes. He then said well see you in a year. I am 76 and female, I have very good health. I have never ever been treated so badly. I don’t think I would return to him even if he was last Dr on earth.

Probably good if looking for nonmedication therapy
Good: Called me an hour before appt to touch base Bad: Does not appear to believe in medication for ADD/ADHD and will not prescribe them. Was ill-informed on method of action for such meds, comparing them all to meth. Unknowledgeable on referral to another Dr. who treats my condition with meds, instead suggesting psychiatry, of which all have multiple month waits—poor patient care. When scheduling 1mo ago, staff did not have the foresight to mention that he does not prescribe meds for my condition—poor communication, planning, and knowledge of their providers.

Focused on the big picture
Dr. Ansari is an excellent physician. He is a good listener, and takes time to ensure he understands any issues before putting together a strategy to address them. He takes a whole health approach, suggesting specific dietary and lifestyle changes that address root causes rather than rushing to treat symptoms with medications. In my opinion this is absolutely the right approach, but surprisingly rare.

I had an appointment on April 11 for a follow up after blood work. This was my second appointment. I thought he was fantastic. He listened to my concerns and made great long term suggestions about my health. He gave me a list of vitamins I should take to ensure continuing good health. I feel I am in good hands with Dr. Ansari.

Dr. Ansari is extremely bright. He was the first doctor in 30 years that was as concerned about preventive health as much as in treating my ailments. His approach to care is tailored to my overall needs. He has gone above the norm to help me in the many issues I had physically and even gave me hope mentally. In large part because of Dr. Ansari I am in the best shape I have been of the past 20 years. Thank you…thank you thank you!!!!

I recently met with Dr. Ansari ,after turning 65, & my previous Dr. of 30+ years declined Medicare- Dr. Ansari's approach is great for me ! We discussed my lifestyle, eating, health & wellness habits, he offered a few suggestions - he was not "in a hurry" to get to another appointment, he listened, & we discussed my concerns............, & he has been very responsive to my requests since that first office visit - good staff as well !

My family doctor retired, I decided to seen his replacement dr. Ansari., it was a waste of time and money. They need to select better their doctors, I do not need to pay just for somebody to ready me the results of my lab work, did not answer any of my questions.

This doctor had an agenda instead of listening, he was lecturing.. He said all medication was poison. I was not there for meds. He was antagonistic and had no bedside manner. I was so disappointed but it was so extreme I had Had to laugh so I would not cry. I have never given a doctor a bad review.

Dr. Ansari is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to discuss what matters, and answer any questions. I have been there twice and was impressed with his care for me the patient and how he can help to educate about health. Waiting times were very short, no wasted morning or afternoon. If you want to stay healthy, or get better and then stay well, this is the doctor for you!

Dr Ansari was efficient and proficient and as friendly as he could be for being a busy Dr! I was a new patient last week. What I was really impressed with is that we connected over functional medicine, that being a strong, nearly primary focus on nutrition and exercise to deal with aging issues and overall health. He took the time to list for me foods and what to do to start combatting the possibilities of Altzheimers disease that runs in my maternal side of the family. I was very excited and am in the process of cleaning out my food pantry, and I shopped for the much healthier foods. I actually had no brain fog from eating too many processed foods and sugar the first day when I began my day with a kale and spinach smoothie! BRAVO Dr Ansari! I feel I have a real partner in navigating and managing my health care! THANK YOU AND YOUR HEALTH TEAM FOR being amazing~
