My mom (90) had a broken kneecap. Dr Hashemi was excellent, friendly and patient. The surgery went well and was through in his explanation of his procedure.

IGNORES followup needs
He didn't bother to check for other broken bones (which were present) besides the one that was obvious, on which he performed surgery. Had to request antibiotics multiple times through hospital personnel before he finally approved what should have been routine. Didn't prescribe pain medication for terrible pain despite calling his office multiple times for help.

My mother broke her tibia, Mercy Truxtun ED put in consult to Dr Hashemi, he never came to see her in the 4 days she was in ER waiting for him, He told the ER staff it is not an Emergency as to why he has not seen her, wow!! A vascular MD came on day 4 in the ER to tell my mom the outcome of her x-ray!!! SMH, she spent 4 days in the ER dept, unacceptable!!!!

Dr. Hashemi hung up on me! I was frustrated with the poor business practices of this office. My grandmother refuses to see Dr. Hashemi again, and we asked the insurance company to refer her to a different doctor. I talked to Dr. Hashemi over the phone. I did not raise my voice and I did not curse. But as soon as I said we have asked the insurance company to refer my grandmother to a different doctor, he said good and hung up on me!

Dr. and staff do not respect their patients.
Dr. Hashemi and his staff are inconsiderate towards their patients. The proof is in the way the business is run. I drove 4 hours, round trip, to get my grandmother to her appointment only to find the office was closed! I had confirmed the appointment and time 2 days before. I was told by the office manager that they tried to reach me at a phone number I never provided to them. No apology and I was treated as if it was my fault. When my grandmother was in the hospital, Dr. Hashemi didn't see her until she had been there for 3 days. He told me he didn't know she was still in the hospital. However, on day 2 when I complained the charge nurse, he told the surgical staff to tell me he will be there in 1 hour.

Recently effectively needed emergency hip replacement surgery due to a trip & fall on my asphalt driveway. Dr. Hashemi shared x-rays with me showing the damage and was very forthright in my options, and which was best in my situation (broke the ball of the top of my femur). I am a week in having had my surgery the day after the accident and am recovering well. Kudos to the folks from Terrio Physical Therapy, as they clearly explained how to implement a simple rehab program and the physical do's and don't associated with a full hip replacement.

So far I have had a wonderful experience. Dr Hashemi is very kind and makes you feel at ease. He is very friendly and attentive to my questions. I had shots in both my knees and he is very gentle. His staff is excellent. So far I have had a wonderful experience. I am facing knee replacements on both legs and I will try to remember to let everyone know how it goes.

I always feel very at ease that all of my appointments. I expected to be extremely nervous going to these appointments knowing that I was pretty much destined for knee replacement. That has not been the case, everyone has been super friendly and I feel very comfortable with my doctor!
