NO CONCERN
I did not feel Dr. Baig was concerned about my health. All he did was ask for bloodwork. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Worst Experience Ever
I am a type 1 diabetic and have had to go without insulin for weeks at a time due to Dr. Baigs inability to care for his patients correctly and his office's ability to do as they say they will do. If you want a doctor who communicates and actually cares for his patients, this is not your guy.

Bad front office workers
The Doctors does not know much my condition and he has asked his nurses to put a CGM through for me and it has been 2 months and they are still playing games every time I go in they said they are working on it and they already got the approval I have seen other patients walk out and say that they refuse to go back to him.

HE"S JUST ONE DOCTOR---not a corporation!??
Took almost 3 months to get 1st appointment---yet his office failed to send paperwork needed for visit. And TINY waiting room....patients were outside in the entrance filling out forms. Restrooms were locked behind doors. And the reception area had obnoxious sign "DO NOT KNOCK ON GLASS"....maybe the staff just guesses when someone's outside needing help! After questioning late charge---I noticed it was over hour LATE for my appointed time. Remember....3 months ago they booked this appointment....now they appear to have overbooked! I asked about Doctor paying ME for late fee...To which his snippet staff retorted---"he's not a corporation, just one doctor." And I wanted this degree of sloppy lackadaisical attitudes handling my medical care? Chances are, my knowledge of male hormones and HRT might be deeper than this "endocrinologist!" I''ll be filing dispute with insurance and Medicare ASAP. If you're looking for a PROFESSIONAL DOCTOR-----keep searching!

Used to be good doctor and is very combative and will not work with you, or meet you halfway. Not very organized with their schedule, I will get told one thing and it’s not accurate. Used to prescribe me medicine that would help me just fine and now I ask for it and it’s a problem. Wasted $45 for nothing, for medicine I am already taking that clearly is not helping me out. I don’t understand why a doctor who’s supposed to be compassionate and wanting to help a patient will have an issue prescribing me medicine that would bring me comfort and relief which he has in the past. It would cost them nothing to write my a prescription for a medication that’s worked for the symptoms I have. He says that I’m “not agreeing with him” and doesn’t hear me out and is not a nice person, doesn’t let me talk and doesn’t hear me out like a MD should. Only what he wants/says and that’s it? Sucks how the quality of person has dropped tremendously in him, used to be a great office and people. Would NOT go.

If you're a man and actually need to do testosterone replacement therapy, this man will not help you. If he does, he'll give you enough to chemically castrate you. He has no empathy for male or female patients in general that want to remain physically and sexually active. He just looks at your blood work, says your normal, and turns you loose.

This doctor is incompetent. He took on call over for another physician and restarted insulin in a severely hypoglycemic patient resulting in patient losing consciousness and being transferred to ICU. Then has the gall to blame the patient! Even the hospital diabetes educator said to run for my life!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Baig?
Dr. Baig, M.D., has always been both courteous and very thorough in answering any health related questions I ask him, and he takes the time to discuss my treatment plan with me and explain why he prescribes any medication for me. I appreciate the friendliness and the professionalism of his office staff as well as that received from Dr. Baig himself. I highly recommend him to any one in need of treatment by a Endocrinology and Diabetes & Metabolism Specialist, one of the best in Tampa Bay!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Baig?
Dr. Baig had a nice demeanor but he was dismissive of my problem, because my levels were in normal range, although high. He made me wait so we could watch my thyroid grow from big to enormous, and from having 1 nodule to having SEVEN! I was to the point of not being able to breathe yet he said there was no reason for my trachea to be compressed! I left and went to another doc who removed it and said it was the largest he's ever seen. This guy is a quack and should not be working with thyroids.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Baig?
never even saw him. the waiting room was absolutely disgusting, it reeked of cigarettes, and there was no air conditioning. It was filthy. I waited an hour for my scheduled new patient appointment, and they said it would still be another 30 minutes. I left. they did not apologize, nor offer to make a different appt.
