l was seen by Dr. El Kheir back in June in his clinic after being seen by another nephrologist. He was so kind and listened attentively to my questions and concerns despite my visit exceeding its maximum time limit. The staff there were so kind and friendly.l highly recommend Dr El Kheir to any patient with kidney problems.

Was appointed Dr. El Kheir at Norton's Women and Children Hospital for Nephrology. Upon initial contact, Dr. El Kheir came off questioning and condescending when I understood medical terminology and was interested in my care (Besides being pre-med and in the process of an additional Neuroscience major, I have ten years in a subsection of a medical field and understand a lot of concepts). Instead of treating me as a human being and one that was wanting to work together with ultimately his call as the end say, every day I was met with a pompous attitude--as an ignorant number without a voice. Multiple times did I suggest something that was initially shot down, and then implemented a few days later. I was dismissed without reasoning when I tried to explain that given the type of renal issue I have and the low remission rate, I'd like to at least talk about a back up plan if first line of treatment failed. The last straw was when I suggested something and was condescendingly laughed at.

The best nephrologist I have ever met. My mother has been a patient of Dr. El Kheir for more than a year and he has proved to be an excellent doctor in managing my mother's kidney condition, caring for her health, and in being an outstanding physician when it comes to giving his patients enough time. We need more of Dr. El Kheir in our country. Julie, Louisville
