Dr. Shams is an excellent physician. I am a middle aged female with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have been sick for 10 years. She was one of the best physicians I had. I saw her more than 10 times in 2 years and she truly is in the top of her field. She was one of the only primary care Doctors that treated my extra symptoms and actually made my life better. Shame on these negative reviews....Dr. Mitra Shams rocks!

Dr. Shams did not communicate well with me. She did not listen to me or follow through on what she said she was going to do. I do not have confidence in her as a physician. I am looking for a new doctor.

The initial experience with Dr.. Shams was not positive. She is the only Doctor left in the practice. So, our options as patients are limited. Her bedside manner/customer service needs improvement. She was unwilling to discuss alternative options to attaining health & wellness if it didn't fit with her primary opinion.

I have had a horrible experience. I was transferred here when my Dr. quit working for Baptist. Dr. Shams is rude and so is her staff. They are disorganized and make it hard to feel like anyone there cares about what happens to you. I was at a Sports Medicine Practice before where the doctor seemed to care and the staff was at least friendly. This office makes me feel discriminated against at every visit.

Not positive. Little communication with patient. Problems with prescription refills. Basically, the staff just goes thru the motion. You're a number. Has gone down considerably since Dr. Hahn left.

Dr. Shams is a brilliant doctor. I am most grateful she has agreed to become my primary physician on the retirement of my internist and primary physician. I am seriously considering moving my diabetic management to her as she is that great and knowledgeable of a physician.
