Frustrating
I could not recommend against Dr. Patel enough. If you value your time, I recommend going somewhere else - because she certainly does not value your time. She (or her NP) was at least 45 minutes late for every single appointment. At my most recent appointment, after my appointment time had already passed, I heard her tell the receptionist that she was going to have some lunch before her next appointment (me). Fine. But then a couple minutes later, I heard her sit down to lunch with sales reps in the conference room. After 45 minutes of this, I asked the receptionist to cancel my appointment. She seemed annoyed (but professional - her staff is very kind) - not at me, but at Dr. Patel - which told me that my experience was not unique. Prior to all of this, Dr. Patel had recommended I get a CT scan. It took 5 months for her office to provide prior authorization to my insurance, and that was only after I played matchmaker between her and the insurance. On a positive note, she is nice.

our first visit was merely a consultation. No testing was done. When I went to my current Allergist, he immediately began the testing. It was a waste of a visit with Dr. Patel.

I ha very 2 children with allergies and have been going there for several years. I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Patel does a great job explaining my children's condition and treatment plan. She was able to manage my son's allergies and now he no longer needs shot or pills even though his allergies were severe in the beginning. She and her staff have always been pleasant. I am a nurse so everything that needed to be done was done and when they were better she let you know not to come.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible horrible physician. She cares little about patient and mostly about insurance reimbursement. She is the reason insurance companies do not want to pay. She requires patients to come three times before getting a treatment plan. It is all her master plan to bill for each visit. She is unethical! Find a real doctor.
