Dr. Mina Shaker, MD

The doctor is OK but it is very difficult to schedule an appointment. Whenever I call, I get a recorded msg to call back later. Tried for two hours with no luck today.

Dr. Mina Shaker is thorough, respectful, and kind. He doesn't dismiss concerns, whether he has the time or not you do not feel rushed. He meets the patient where they are (if he has a sense you are about to second guess why you are prescribed something he will give you the science and allow you the space to add your feelings about the options you have). He puts together puzzle pieces instead of looking at you like a series of individual organs. He looks for underlying causes instead of throwing remedies at symptoms. He has a network of doctors he respects and refers to. I do not take reviews lightly, but I have highly recommended this practice to many people and brought my family into it. Adding to all this he has a fantastic sense of humor and bedside manner. He is smart but not arrogant. Icing is that if he is not in the office his brother can see you and is just as qualified. Yup all that. :)

Dr. Mina Shaker is incredibly smart, knowledgeable and caring. He takes time to listen at every appointment. He recently diagnosed my hyperparathyroidism that had gone unnoticed by a prior provider. My husband and I are both his patients. As a healthcare professional, I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr Shaker and team. I have seen Dr Safwat, Dr Mina and Dr David and all of them are extremely helpful and provide the best advices. They have been focused on my well being from day 1. Before seeing any specialist or even going through any surgery from a specialist, I always get Dr Shaker’s opinion.

He took his time, listened to my health concerns, went over my chart very carefully in my presence, addressed areas that need special attention Very attentive & patient. The BEST doctor around! Dr. Shaker is an extremely good listener and even better doctor. His ability to educate and explain medical conditions as well as treatment options really empowers the patient. He takes the time to address everything you bring up during your appointment, truly making sure the patient comes first. Dr. Shaker is the best doctor I have ever had and am very happy I chose him. I would highly recommend him and his group to anyone!
