Dr. Milan Sanghavi, MD

I have major doctor anxiety and I felt at ease. The front desk ladies and nurse were kind. The doctor listened and after 2 years of dealing with an issue I finally feel like I am on the right path to be getting some answers.

Dr. Sanghavi provided a letter of medical necessity so that the damaged braces I wear for walking could be replaced. When his letter dd not meet Medicare criteria, numerous requests for an addendum were ignored. The issue was not resolved until a different doctor was seen.

Had been a patient for a few years. In June I experienced excruciating tingling in hands and feet. Scheduled an appointment soonest was 2 weeks out. Because my symptoms made me cry I was interrogated as if my symptoms were not real and only asked if things had changed in my home life... Which they had not. He did blood work and said they would call me to review the results and determine next step. They never called me back despite my calling and leaving messages. Most excruciating pain and tingling and falling. Thank goodness my PCP was on the ball. Went for 2nd opinion at University of MD and come to find out the EMG Dr. Sanghavi did was not a complete EMG. Univ of MD said it would only show if I had carpal tunnel and not neuropathy or any major illness with my nerves. Very disappointed with lack of care and treatment. My recommendation is go to a university setting.

He is an awesome doctor. He cares for my mom and I’m happy with her care. He listens and is very compassionate

Listens, easy to talk with and does not waste time.

Dr. Sanghavi and his office were kind enough to refer my friend, who suffers from severely limiting symptoms due to post-concussion syndrome from a traumatic brain injury, to another doctor who can help her "without wasting her time." Several other neurologists we have seen have done only that: wasted our time. But the office went even further and sent back her medical records (at their expense) and got in touch with her primary care doctor, all without receiving a penny from my friend.
