Yesterday was my 1 year post op visit with DrMody from a successful neck surgeryI found Dr Mody and his staff very easy to work with. All my concerns were addressed and no questions went unanswered. Dr Mody performed surgery on my back just over a year ago. I learned on my initial visit with Dr Mody that vertebras in my back had fused. In order to correct this and to eliminate the resulting pain, surgery would be required. Dr Mody explained in great detail the surgery and the resultant recovery. I was most appreciative of his candid explanations, as I knew exactly what to expect during and after the surgery. The surgery was lengthy and required a post hospital stay. Dr Mody visited me in the hospital after the surgery and explained all that had occurred. The follow up visits with him and his staff followed my recovery well! My recovery was explained in detail to me and what I could do to assist the healing process. Throughout the entire experience, I found Dr Mody to be an excellent surgeon and a very caring individual with great concern and compassion for his patients! I highly and unhesitatingly recommend him to all in need of back surgery!

Dr Mody was very thorough in explaining my husband’s procedure prior to surgery, he advised us of what to expect before and after the surgery, he said it would take a year to really feel the entire results of the surgery. Dr Mody informed my husband if he does exactly what he tells him to do, he will have between 80%-85% success rate. We felt very comfortable going through the surgery. Before surgery my husband was experiencing a lot of sciatica pain in his legs, continuously having pain in his back, unable to travel, walking was painful, exercising was non existent, running up and down the basketball court as a referee no longer could be done. My husband only took 500mg extra strength over the counter medication, no pain medicine was needed. Dr Mody had him up and walking the same day of surgery. Fast forward, it has been a year, and my husband and I are happy we went with the surgery, no more pain, able to do a little running, resumed all other activities. Thank you Dr Mody

Dr. Mody was very proficient in explaining my procedure prior to surgery and also advised me of results to expect. I felt very comfortable going through my nerve decompression surgery. Before surgery I was experiencing a lot of pain and having difficulty sleeping. Now most of the pain is gone and I'm now getting a full night's sleep.

I don’t know where to even start…about 6 months ago, I injured my back due to a fall. My back progressively worsened until 2 weeks ago when I became unable to walk to the next room without the use of an assistive device. The day after surgery, I walked around the entire hospital floor and now, less than 2 weeks post-op, I am walking more than a mile a day. Dr Mody has great bedside manner and genuinely cares for his patients. I was shocked when I received a phone call the day before my surgery. That was unexpected but very reassuring of the care and professionalism that Dr Mody provides to his patients.

He got in there and fixed the problem right away, operating on a Saturday, not waiting until the following week, which I so very much appreciated. Surgery was a smashing success and well worth it. His PA's also were very, very good, very professional, and answered all my questions.

Dr. Mody is the best orthopedic surgeon in town and he did my surgery last year at this same time of year and I have to say I am better than before. He did ACDF NECK surgery of 3 disks . If I hadn't had the surgery I am quite sure I would still be in pain and it probably would be worse without surgery I wouldn't have the quality of life I have today I have to say thank you Dr. Mody for giving me my life back if I have to have any future surgeries of my back or neck he is the man I will have do it .

Dr. Mody is very professional as well as a compassionate person. I had a 360 fusion on L4 – S1 (2 disks). Eight hour surgery. After the surgery he came out and explained very thoroughly the procedure to my wife, brother and friend. His PA and nurses were very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Dr Mody performed Major Back Surgery on me 10 years ago. It truly changed my life. I was in so much pain it was unbearable. The procedure was a complete success. A month ago, I had to return to him for Major Neck Surgery. Again, a complete success. The first time I had one of the best insurance policies available. This time I had only Medicare. I received the same attention and treatment both times. Dr Mody is in this for the purpose of making a difference in the lives of people who are suffering. He has an awesome bedside manner, and his team is outstanding!I am a skeptic concerning the medical industry, and I don’t convince easily. I believe that this man is led by God Almighty. A that our Creator uses the amazing skill that Dr Mody has to help the hurting. I’m so thankful to God for both of the surgeries, that have helped me so much.

Dr. Mody performed my neck surgery in 2022 and I just had my last follow up visit a few days ago. I had been living with severe pain in my neck for many years due to misaligned vertebrae in my neck pinching my spinal chord. Thanks to Dr. Mody I am now pain free. I hurt my back in May. After physical therapy and a pacemaker, I was extremely lucky to get referred to Dr Mody. He performed a back decompression surgery in November. I went thru 1 1/2 yrs of pain shots because 1 spine Dr. told me I didn't need surgery. The pain care Dr. referred me to Dr. Mody. He didn't hesitate on surgery (360 Fusion Lower Back). I wish I had went to him first. I am now pain free. He listens to your questions and has answers, he hears concerns. I recommend him for any back/neck related problems.

Thank you Dr. Mody! You are the best!! For many years I had been suffering with my back. In 1995 I was told that the surgery was worse than the pain. To go home and learn to live with it. So, I did just that. In 2018 I started having falls from drop foot and excruciating pain. In 2019 I went to another spine center and was told that I would die on the table. That the surgery was too extensive and was not worth the risk. Seeking more professional advice, I went to Dr. Mody, in late 2020. He and his staff answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable about having surgery. I had 360 back fusion and two disks replaced. It was a difficult surgery with a lengthy recover. I followed all of Dr. Mody’s guidelines, and today I am forever grateful for his dedication guiding me through recovery. He and his staff truly are very supportive, encouraging, and professional. Earlier this year, Dr. Mody performed a Back Ablation for severe pain I sustained in a car accident when much of my days were spent in recliner alternating heat and ice packs. My check-up appointment was last week. When the nurse came to exam room before Dr. Mody, her once-dreaded question was regarding my level of pain which was usually between a 7 and 9. On this day, I was super happy to report Zero. Of course, I still have to manage my day-to-day activities, and know when too much is too much. But, I feel so blessed to be functioning at a more comfortable level than before meeting Dr. Mody. He's certainly professional, personable and trustworthy. Thank you Dr. Mody.

I had a 360 fusion March 2023, Dr Mody explained everything he was going to do from beginning to end , his bedside manners was superb. Not to mention my surgery was a success, he made sure he followed up afterwards every six weeks with X-rays etc. I would recommend anyone with extreme spinal stenosis & other spinal problems to him . He’s a perfectionist, he’s passionate about what he does.

Dr. Mody has done two 360 fusions on my lower back. He is helpful, caring and kind. I can now function without pain. I have gotten my life back and owe that to Dr. Mody.
