Disappointing
Dr. Vydrin gave me interesting information during my initial visit. He scheduled a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea and or narcolepsy, either of which may have led to a car crash. He called to share the results with me and said that I had neither condition, and without asking about subjective symptoms said that I have restless leg sydrome. He suggested using a supplement to increase energy, with nothing mentioned about why I fell asleep in the middle of the day. When I messaged him for more information he recommended that I have a sleep study. Apparently, he never read my record before replying. I have since been to another provider in a different facility who took a long medical history and said that I do not have restless leg syndrome and that the sleep study results indicated that I do have sleep apnea. He found several other concerns noted by the sleep study tech, and we are doing further evaluation.

Worst doctor I’ve ever seen. Left crying. Did not listen to me at all. Talked at me and didn’t care to see EMG results done by my PCP. Giving me a diagnosis that is not supported by EMG findings. I will be filing a complaint with UMASS. Do yourself a favor and find another neurologist

Best Neurologist I’ve ever had! He’s not rude, he is Russian. Do not take his directness personally, it’s cultural differences! He was the ONLY one to get my migraine in control, and I rarely have one now. He is not dismissive, he is experienced and KNOWS his stuff! You can absolutely trust his professional opinion and openly discuss and doubts you have with him. Remember, his job is to help you get well. He does this to the highest standard.

On my very 1st visit to Dr. Vydrin I left crying. I have been suffering from migraines since 1991 and I know how to treat my migraines with what works for me. dr Vydrin demanded I quit wearing my glasses also told me to quit my PCA night hours which is only 2 hours and that I am in bed by 10 p.m. and refused to provide my medications. He spoke to me like I was a 2 year old & I was very upset that a doctor would make these demands at me. He does not pay my bills or live w/chronic migraines

Dr Vydrin is more than rough around the edges- he's very rude, dismissive and lacking professionalism in every way. I have seen him for over a year and will be filing a complaint at Umass immeadiately. I've seen him for over a year with zero results in resolving chronic migraines- he told me to take vitamins, do Thai chi and get acupuncture. He mocked me for being so sensitive and said I must not be trying to get better. Are you kidding me with this guy?

I personally love Dr. Vydrin. He takes his time with me, listens, and takes tests when needed. I have Chiara malformation and numbness throughout my body off and on and he always takes everything seriously. Yes, he's a little rough around the edges, but I give it back to him and our doctor/patient relationship has worked great. He fights for me with my other doctors who feel my care is incorrect. Most would never do that for a patient. He a great doctor!

Very rude! No bed side manner at all. Pretty much blew me off after he saw in my records that I had seen a neurolgist 8 years before. Told me that it must be my anxiety so i should see a psychotherapist, get massages and acupuncture for chronic pain on the left side of my body. I wouldn't send my enemy to this jerk.
