Best Interventional Cardiologist!
Had a 3pm appmt. on 10/18/2023. From the time I signed in to the time they called me was less than 11 minutes. The staff as always has been very courteous as well as efficient. Dr. Mike Rodriguez has been taking care of my Cardiovascular System & 'all' that 'it' encompasses for over 2 years now. Suffering a near fatal heart attack with reference to 8/2021 'He' was quick to intervene. God first & 'him' second, I am alive today and doing well because of 'his' expertise & quick judgement. I have made a full recovery from my triple by-pass surgery and feeling like a 13 year old ( I am 68 yrs. young) today. I literally owe him my new lease on life (and 'this' is an understatement) Do yourselves as well as your heart a favor & place your trust in 'this' individual's care/hands (you'll be glad you did) I consider Dr. Mike Rodriguez 'La Creme De La Creme' among interventional Cardiologists.

Great experience with Dr. Rodriguez
Dr. Rodriguez replaced my father’s aortic valve today. He visited with me after the surgery and was very informative, had a great bedside manner and answered all my questions. The surgery went very well and Dad should be able to come home in a couple of days. Thankful that this successful surgery will give give my Dad better health and more years with us. Thank you very much Dr. Rodriguez, I am a fan for life! God Bless you!

Do Not Recommend
Extremely rude with a terrible bedside manner. I can’t speak for his knowledge as a cardio, but I will say I’ll not ever be under his care again. We do have choices and not all doctors are created equal. Horrible experience!

Made me feel like I was lying about my health issu
I recently saw Dr. Rodriguez. I needed cardiac clearance for surgery. I was having a hysterectomy because I had a huge uterine tumor needing to be removed. My initial clearance showed I had an arythmia so I was sent by my MD to see him. He got in my face and told me to quit telling people I had an arythmia (afib) when I don't! MY lying would get me in trouble one day. I told him I had extreme water retention he called me fat and said I needed to lose weight and recommended gastric bypass. After surgery I found my tumor was so big it deformed my uterus and was in fact pressing on my urethra not allowing me to urinate. My health corrected itself and I'm fine again. Dr. Rodriguez didn't take me seriously at all. I have a stutter so the whole time he treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Like I was slow. I'm very disappointed and feel i was discriminated against. He may be knowledgeable but his arrogance and cocktail attitude smothers his knowledge!

RUDE and dismissive
Brought my mother as a new patient. When I tried to ask questions was told I was trying to tell him what to do.. When I replied that I was asking questions because we were new, he became agitated and said he could not be our DR. Very RUDE.
