Excellent care
Dr Parikh did an excellent job for me. He worked me into his procedure schedule last minute when my usual doctor couldn't do it. He was kind, caring, and soothed my nerves about an awake bronchoscopy.

Dr. Parikh is affiliated with the TBM program at Beth Israel Deaconess and worked on the team which unsuccessfully treated me for tracheobronchomalacia. At my follow-up visit in October, Dr. Parikh disagreed with the surgeon on the team for a second operation to correct a "seriously significant" collapse of both bronchi, but Dr. Parikh did not offer an alternative. In addition, Dr. Parikh prescribed an antibiotic, doxycycline hyclate, even though he knew I was taking a blood thinner. This antibiotic is contraindicated for anyone taking a blood thinner. Luckily, I stopped taking the antibiotic after just one day. When notified of the problem. one of Dr. Parikh's nurses told me, Oops! Would you like for us to prescribe somethibg else?" Please be carefull following Dr. Parikh's advice and instructions.
