Amazing physician
I recently had a visit with Dr. Goicoechea, and I am beyond impressed with the level of care I received. From the minute his office called me I was treated with professionalism. Dr. Goicoechea took me under his care and thoroughly coordinated with my surgeon and explicitly explained my diagnosis and treatment options. His dedicated to my well-being made it evident that he genuinely cared about my well-being.I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding treatment I received and highly recommend Dr. G

Would not recommend
I visited him in 2023 with suspected parasites - a huge amount of symptoms which he laughed off and dismissed. 6 months later thru my own continued research and work with a functional medicine doctor / Natropath I found I had a huge overgrowth of parasites. He literally laughed and told me I definitely didn’t have them. Sure - it wasn’t a tapeworm from visiting another country but it was a variety of parasites and he wouldn’t even open that conversation up. Sent me on my way saying I had acne rosacea (I had a rash on one side of my face from the gut overgrowth). So very disappointing- find someone else with an open mind and not a prescription book

Great Doctor, explained everything to us. Spent over 45 minutes telling us my options. Wrote out the plan for me for the next 3 months. This is the Doctor you want. Thanks Dr. G.

I met Dr Goicoechea in the hospital when I contracted MSSA. He was attentive, compassionate and explained all the treatments I was getting. My post hospital office visit went well with wait time about 15 mins in waiting room and about the same in exam room

This clinic does not return phone calls. I have waited 4 days and still not call back to schedule. I am now forced to go to the ER. During my last visit the front desk Team member was rude and I observed this with other patient as well. To say she was snippy is kindness. I'v lost trust in this physician provider.

Dr. Goicoechea reviewed my labs that were ordered by a naturopath and dismissed the presenting symptoms (sudden psoriasis breakout w/ no family history, candida overgrowth and deficient thyroid and adrenal function). It took another two years of bouncing around Scripps doctors until I was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. If he had recognized the symptoms, perhaps I wouldn't be also dealing with pituitary deficiency, depressed immune system and sepsis.
