Cancer testing by blood, DNA, & MRI
Blood tests following a living donor liver transplant due to polycystic liver disease indicated frequent potential Leukemia disease. DNA tests showed no genetic markers of the type that killed my father. MRI test showed lesions on liver, and I am waiting for Dr. Albino’s evaluation.

The office visit went fine…but I had a chest scan for my 6 months follow up…still waiting on the results…no one has either bother to send me a copy of the report or called with the results…I’m assuming it was ok..but for piece of mind it would have been nice to hear back from someone…

Dr. Albino...The Best!
As you can imagine, being diagnosed with breast cancer is devesting. I was scared, and confused on getting treatment's. Dr. Albino was very caring and explained step-by-step the process and results that could and would be happening with chemotherapy and radiation. He was patient with me and answered all my questions, no matter how weird they were! I couldn't have been in better hands with my chemo process and still on-going with my follow-up appointments.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Albino spends the time needed to give through explanations and answer your questions. While he is clearly a subject matter expert he is never condescending. He is friendly, supportive, and professional....a rare combination in a physician.

Follow up to lung cancer removal surgery.
Dr. Albino scheduled a CT scan with contrast to assess the success of the previous years tumor removal surgery. The test results were e-mailed to me through the Texas Oncology Patient Portal. Inasmuch as I was sble to decipher the results of the scan, everything looked positive. Sadly, I have received no follow up consult from Dr. Albino. I am therefore assuming that “no news is good news”. This leaves me somewhat dissatisfied.

Dr. Albino is a great oncologist!
Dr. Albino has been pretty awesome. I have a complicated, aggressive form of multiple myeloma, and he's been really helpful and caring. He's also been really open to an experimental treatment which was suggested by a different doctor I saw for a second opinion. I've worked with the big names at MD Anderson, and I keep coming back to Dr. Albino. I love the Texas Oncology folks, and especially Dr. A!
