Absolutely terrible
I have been a patient of Walcotts since 2021 and within that time frame I have seen her quite a bit in office and she has preformed a surgery on me. Needless to say I am still in excruciating pain to this day and she did not believe me nor hear me out. I am 22 years old and very active, my ankle is worse now than it was before surgery. At the last appointment I had with her she looked at an MRI that was done prior to surgery and told me I should be fine and nothing looked wrong to her. She tried insinuating that I was the one who messed up her surgery. I still go to physical therapy twice a week two years post op. This doctor should be ashamed to call herself that because she definitely doesn’t have the patient in mind when she does things. In the end she told me that she doesn’t know how to help me and sent me off to a random doctor that “knew more on the subject” I ended up just scheduling an appointment with a whole other practice and finally got the answers I’ve been searching for.

Caring, professional and personable doctor
Dr. Wolcott was a pleasure to work with during a recent visit after my ski injury. She was able to explain everything and help me prioritize what I needed to do to recover with a plan to get back to fully active. I have had other doctors that didn't seem to care about getting me back to the activities I love. Skiing and hockey are the 2 hobbies and at some point you have to expect an injury so knowing I have a doctor that realizes that healing doesn't mean I will stop playing is important. The rest of the office staff is great as well. Friendly, professional and accommodating. Even when I showed up on the wrong day they did their best to provide care. I will 100% go back.... Although I hope I don't have to. ;)

Highly recommended for knee surgery
I have had a great experience with Dr. Wolcott. In March, I was skiing and tore my ACL. After an initial x ray and MRI, I was referred to her and she has been a fantastic doctor! She and her staff have listened to my concerns, provided me with options for treatment and information to help me make an informed decision, and has been extraordinarily personable. In May she performed my ACL repair and has ensured I have had all the resources for a quick and full recovery. I am really grateful for her skills with repairing my busted knee and being able to communicate with me at every step along the way. Highly recommend.

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Dr. Wolcott and her team. After a ski injury, I am grateful to have been connected with Dr. Wolcott almost immediately after the accident, and knew I was in good hands. She is truly an expert in her field and everyone on her team was so helpful in expediting a treatment plan, and assisting with recovery. I cannot say enough good things. Having been through this exact ACL surgery on my other knee once before, my experience with Dr. Wolcott has been night and day. My pain has been minimal throughout the recovery process, and I highly recommend connecting with Dr. Wolcott for any knee injury!

Needed elbow surgery. Dr Wolcott and her team were excellent throughout. Able to schedule surgery and follow-ups easily. Everyone was available to answer questions pre-surgery and the entire experience was as smooth as could be expected.

Dr. Wolcott is amazing. In 2017 she repaired a right rotator cuff tear for me with sub-acromial decompression. My range of motion, mobility, and pain on that shoulder was completely corrected and it is now my "good shoulder". This year I had a partial pectoral tendon tear on my left side which she repaired masterfully. It's been three months and I am already back to doing pushups, pull-ups, and I am pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Wolcott for all your orthopedic needs. She's truly the best!

I had an unfortunate accident back on January 23, 2021 where I cleanly ripped my quad tendon off my patella in a freak accident going down some stairs. I was referred to Dr. Wolcott via my insurance at UC Health. I have to say from the initial appointment to my ongoing Physical Therapy the experience has been a positive one considering the circumstances and what I expected to deal with post surgery and during rehab. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most pain I have experienced nothing more than a level 3-4 and closer to a 2-3 pain level. The surgery went as smooth as possible and my scar is not very prominent. The staff, nurses, physicians assistant, and physical therapist have made this experience very tolerable as I continue my journey back to normal. If you have an injury (knee, shoulder etc.) please consider contacting Dr. Wolcott's office to schedule an initial consultation. Even if you have been to another doctor have Dr. Wolcott give you a second opinion. Thank you.

I shattered my collar mtn biking and was devastated because tennis season was just kicking off. Dr. Wolcott (Orthopedic Surgeon), her staff at UC Health and the staff at Broomfield hospital were amazing. On the day of surgery, every person I encountered from check in, prep assistants, nurses, anesthesiologist and surgeon were all competent and greeted me as if I were family. The staff transformed a super painful experience to one that made me feel welcomed and appreciated. Dr. Wolcott and staff were able to secure the pieces of the shattered clavicle in place with screws and a plate. The stitches are still healing but Dr. Wolcott did such a good job that scarring will be minimal. Follow up visits were always pleasant and I was seen in a timely fashion. If you are unfortunate enough to break a bone, I highly recommend Dr. Wolcott for orthopedic surgery and to get you on the mend. Thank you to all of the medical staff. Soon I will be back to 100% and back on the tennis circuit.

Dr. Wolcott did an amazing job surgically repairing my ACL. I was very afraid of the process and I can honestly say that my experience with Dr. Wolcott and her team has blown me away. I have had ZERO pain throughout the process and I just can't believe it. My knee is healing great and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. Dr. Wolcott listens to me and even lets me know what to expect and she has been on the money with everything. I'm very thankful for the skilled work she has provided and would highly recommend her to others. I'm on my way back to full strength faster than I thought I would be.

If you're in need, go see Dr., Wolcott. She reconnected a torn meniscus root which was not clearly known at the time of surgery. However, she covered all the posibilities prior to the surgery with the worse case scenario so I could decide in advance what I was willing to endure for non-weight bearing recovery. She is personable, professional and did a great job on my meniscus for a repair that does not have 100% fix. She also has a great staff!!!!

I went to UC Health for a running related knee issue. Dr. Wolcott (call me, Michelle), was thorough, a great listener, a fabulous communicator, and excellent at creating trust. From the moment I walked in EVERYONE acted as if I were the only patient they had. Attentive, never rushed, from top to bottom. Michelle spent nearly an hour with me making sure I was comfortable with her findings and my options going forward. And, as mentioned, I never felt as if she was in a hurry to move on. Fantastic!

Spends time with the patient - answering all questions and going through imaging - explaining what is wrong, why, and what your options are to fix it. Not only is good with - but she encourages lots of communication. She also did my ACL reconstruction surgery which had no complications, and at one month post-op, my scar looks incredible!
